Chapter 4
Cassie’s POV
“Peter!” I shouted when I walked out of the classroom, my voice carrying through the halls making him turn at me confused. Running towards him at full speed, I barreled him into a hug almost knocking him down.
“Whoa, whoa what’s wrong?” Peter asked, holding my shoulders back, looking into my eyes.
“I got an A!” I exclaimed, my smile about to burst. “I got an A on my science test, Peter!”
His eyes widened happily and we hugged, me squealing from pure excitement. “That’s great Cassie!” He congratulated me. “I’m so happy for you!”
Giving him one last squeeze, “It’s all thanks to you!”
“Me?” He chuckled as I pulled away.
“Peter, come on, with all that extra study time these past two weeks, I never would have passed without you!”
“Come on, Cas. Gwen and MJ helped too.” He said, trying to be modest.
I rolled my eyes, “They didn’t come over almost every day to help me study. Give yourself credit.”
“Alright,” Peter said cockily and smirked at me. “I am pretty awesome.”
Laughing, I shoved him then saw MJ and Gwen come around the corner! “MJ! Gwen!” I yelled to them while they turned only to have me hit them at full speed, pulling them into a hug. “I passed! I passed the science test and I guess what? I got an A!” I jumped up and down, giving them the paper to see the ‘A’ written clearly on the top of my paper.
“Oh my gosh that’s great!” Gwen said, a wide smile on her face.
“I’m so happy for you!” MJ laughed and hugged me.
“Thanks guys.” I said, once I had pulled away, my smile never leaving my face.
“What are we gonna do to celebrate?” Gwen asked.
“I say pizza and a movie at my place?” Peter asked, hands in his pockets as he met up with us.
“And ice cream?” MJ asked, batting her eyelashes.
Peter laughed, knowing her obsession. “And ice cream.” He promised. “Aunt May and I will get the stuff after school.”
