Come back

Three weeks later
"How's Eliza doing?" Hermann Asked Logan as they sat around the common room, Eliza had been released from med about a week ago and Logan had been back at work for two weeks.
"She's doing good, she's working on getting cleared to come back. Actually she's at her physical evaluation this morning." Logan Said with a smile as his phone went off. "I'll be right back." He Said with a smirk as he pushed the phone into his pocket.
"El!" Brett shouted, seeing Logan guide Eliza into the common room.
"Hey." Eliza said with a laugh as the blonde paramedic wrapped her arms around her. "I only  saw you the day before yesterday." She laughed.
"Well, I've missed you're face around here." Brett said with a laugh.
"I've missed  being here." Eliza smiled.
"How did the physical go?" Logan Asked, still stood by his sisters side.
"Passed with flying colours." Eliza answered.
"When can you come back?" Brett said excitedly. "Don't get me wrong I love Chout but only in small doses." She added.
"I'm actually here to talk to Chief." Eliza said, among Brett's smile even wider.
"Thought I heard Brett scream your name." Boden said, stood behind her. "Come to my office." He Said, turning and heading down the hallway.
"I'll be right back." Eliza said, squeezing Logan's arm as she passed him.
"So what can I do for you?" Boden asked as they sat on opposite sides of his desk.
"I'm all cleared to come back but Dr Rhodes told me to come and talk to you about something." She hinted.
"He rang me earlier, he mentioned you've not told anyone?" Boden asked.
"I don't want my brothers to know because they would treat me differently, everyone would treat me differently." She Said. "Connor said I can come back I've just got to clear it with you."
"It's fine by me but I do want to tell a few people so if something does go wrong they will know why and will be able to help." Boden said.
"Like who?" Eliza asked, her leg beginning to bounce nervously.
"If you tell Brett and I'll just mention it to Casey and Severide but make sure they don't tell anyone." Boden said.
"Okay." She agrees. "Thank you."
"See you next shift Eliza."

"Hey Brett can I talk to you for a sec." Eliza said walking back into the common room.
"Sure what's up?" Brett asked as Eliza led her into the conference room.
"Boden says I can come back next shift I've just got to run something past you." Eliza said nervously.
"That's amazing news!" Brett said, when her excitement wasn't mirrored by Eliza she knew something was wrong. "What do you have to run by me?"
"You can't tell anyone." Eliza said, leaning back on a table. "Everyone thinks I'm fine after what happened but I'm not. I have moments when my mind goes completely blank and I can't remember anything." Eliza says, shaking as she tells someone for the first time.
"What do you mean?" Brett asked.
"I can't remember where I am, names, anything but they ran loads of tests to find out what causes it but they can't work it out. It's not stress or exhaustion so they've cleared me to come back to work but Boden wants to know there'll be people that have my back without me having to tell my siblings." Eliza explained.
"Of course I'll have your back." Brett said, taking Eliza into a hug. "I think Logan's worried about you." Brett said laughing as Logan's face disappeared from view only to return seconds later.
"I can't let him see me like this." Eliza said laughing at her brother as she wiped her eyes. "Thank you so much." She said to Brett before going to find Logan.

"You've reached detective Kyle Chambers, leave a message after the tone and I'll call you back as soon as I can."
Eliza sat on the front of the Squad truck as she listened to Kyles voice mail for the fourth time. She began to tap her foot anxiously as she began to think the worst.
"Hey El, has Kyle picked you up yet?" Jacob answered his phone on the second ring.
"Nope, I guess he's not picked you up either?" Eliza said.
"Nope." Jacob said as he lent on a sign near the enternece to the ed.
"Hey Jacob." Will called as he exited the ED.
"Hey." Jacob said, keeping the phone against his ear.
"I swear your finished like half an hour ago?" Will asked.
"Yep, Kyles not picked me or Eliza up so we're a bit stuck till he picks up his phone." Jacob explained.
"I'll give you a lift over to the 21st?" Will offered.
"I couldn't ask you to do that." Jacob declined.
"If something has happened then Jay might be involved so let me." Will argued.
"Alright." Jacob gave in. "El, Wills gonna give us a lift to the 21st."

"Sargent, is Kyle around?" Eliza asked Platt.
"Yeah, he's upstairs, let me buzz you up." Platt said, still extremely confused by the siblings and how similar the boys looked.
"Thank you." Eliza said.
"Hey mini Chambers." Ruzek joked as he was the first to see them come up the stairs.
"Oh god." Kyle muttered as he looked at the time. "I'm so sorry." He apologised. "I lost track of time."
"Why didn't you answer your phone?" Eliza asked.
"I dived into a river after a victim with it in my pocket so it's fried." Kyle said.
"They alright?" Jacob asked.
"Yeah, she got transported to lakeshore or I would've come and see you." Kyle said. "I've got to finish this paperwork up so.." he said reaching for the keys out of his desk and chucking them to Jacob. "Save me some food." He told Eliza before placing a kiss on her head and ruffling Jacobs hair.
"How are you getting home?" Eliza asked.
"I'll drop him off." Jay said coming out of an interview. "It's on my way home anyway."
"Thanks." Kyle said.
