Strange Things In Hawkins Chapter 8

I woke up early 7:00 well early for it being summer. I rubbed my eyes and put on my glasses. After getting dressed and eating breakfast I headed out.

The ride was long around an hour,but finally I turned onto the dirt road. After a bit I got to a big oak tree. And I little bit passed that I came to the cabin. I left my bike in the yard and walked up the steps.

And I knocked,no answer I knocked again. Again no answer. But then I remembered the special knock.

One two and three knocks. I heard the lock unlatch and the door opened.

Eleven stood in the doorway. She looked a bit confused but opened the door more so I could come in.

"Hi El" I said as I walked into the small Cabin.

"Hi Emily" she said still a bit confused.

"Sorry,this is probably weird" I said looking at my shoes. "And your probably wondering why I know Hoppers knock"

"I actually came here to talk to Hopper,but I see that he's not here. Do you know when he'll be back?"

El shook her head. "Oh well do you mind if I stay till he gets back?"

El once again shook her head. We sat down on the old couch in silence till El broke it.

"Eggos?"

"What?"

"Eggos?"

"Ohh ummm sure,I didn't have a very big breakfast" I said. She smiled and got up going to the fridge and getting out the Eggos.

She toasted them then walked back over to me with four Eggos in hand. She handed me two and sat down.

We sat there eating our Eggos. Then Eleven broke the silence.

"Why you talk to Hopper?" She asked me.

"Oh umm,something's wrong with Dustin and I wanted to talk to him about it"

"Wrong?"

"Ya he's been having these headaches,but I think it's more then just that"

"Headache?"

"It's when your head hurts" I explain

"Dustin is hurting?"

"Ya he is,but he won't talk to me about it. So I was hoping Hopper could help"

"I could help what?" Hopper asked walking into the cabin. I stood up and looked at him. He looked tired as he always did. And slightly confused and annoyed but wanted to help all at the same time.

"Umm well Dustin has been having these headaches but I think it's way more then that. And he won't talk to me about it." I said. He walked inside and sat down on the couch gesturing me to as well,I do.

"So what kid you want advice?" He says.

"Not as much advice as more of. What do you think could be wrong."

"Kid I'm not a doctor"

"I know,but I just wanted to see what you think" I said trying to look sad. Hoppers actually a softy on the inside so.

"Well has he said anything else about these headaches?"

"Well,he's said that his gets them a couple times a week. And that when they happen his vision blacks out. And he gets dizzy." Hopper doesn't respond he just shares off at nothing.

"Hopper?" I ask him. He snaps out of it looking at me with a hint of fear and sadness in his eyes. He quickly stands up and walked towards the door. Me and Eleven follow him.

"Get in" he says getting into his truck.

"What why?! What is it?" I ask him climbing in. Eleven climbing into the back seat.

"I know what's wrong with Dustin!" He says pulling out of his driveway almost running over my bike.

"What what's wrong with him how do you know!?!" I ask starring to get scared.

"I know,because it's been happening to me to" He says.

What?! Hopper and Dustin are having the same symptoms!!??!!

Lol let me know if any of you guys get/know we're I'm taking this. Or if you have any ideas or theories.
