Emily's POV
My mom had moved me to my room and gave me some soup. My arm still burned but not as bad as before. My mom looked at it earlier and said I didn't need to go to the hospital for it so that was good.
I was mad at myself though, yesterday was supposed to be when we helped Dustin. And because of me we didn't. He told me it was fine but I didn't like it. I don't want him to be going through that any longer then he has to.
My mom said to take it easy and left for work. I was alone,I don't like being alone.
"Em?" My walkie rang out. I picked it up.
"Ya Dustin?" I asked.
"H-how are you?" He asked I could hear the worry in his voice.
"I'm fine,it doesn't need stitches, and it doesn't hurt that bad right now so"
"That's good"
"How are you?" I asked him. There was a long pause.
"I.....I went back last night" my heart sunk. Why did this have to happen?
"I'm sorry,why don't we do it today" I suggested.
"I don't know I what you to rest" he said.
"Dustin. Getting it out of you will allow me to rest"
He sighed. "Ok...I'll call up the gang and tell them to meet at your house" he said.
"Ok,see you in a bit" I turned off the walkie and sat up in bed. Finally he wouldn't be in pain anymore. And neither would Hopper.
I just hoped that Eleven could do it. She was the strongest person I knew. But I still had a little voice telling me that it wouldn't work.
I ignored it. They'll be fine I told myself.
