Strange Things In Hawkins Chapter 27

Emily's POV

I sat in Mikes basement with the rest of the party. El and Dustin nervous out of there minds. I'm pretty sure my blood flow was being cut off of my hand from how hard Dustin was holding it. His knuckles were white,as was my entire hand. But I let him.

"Are you ready Dustin?" Mike asked him. He looked up from the floor took a deep breath and nodded his head. El stood up letting go of Mikes hand and walked over to Dustin sitting next to him on the couch.

"Breath" she said. He nodded and closed his eyes. El looked to Mike for reassurance then gave a small smile to me. I smiled back at her I know she could do it.

Dustin's POV

I didn't want to open my eyes I knew if I did I would be there. "Dustin" I opened them to the never ending darkness. Eleven stood next to me she smiled at me trying to make me feel better. It worked a little bit but I could still feel the knot in my stomach and the lump in my throat.

I took a deep breath knowing it would come out sooner or later. "Hey come out here!" I yelled.

"I know your there so come out! I have a friend I want you to meet" as if on cue a deep groggy chuckle came from everywhere. I stepped back *I change my mind* I thought but it was to late. It came but not walking or crawling out like before. No this time a shadow formed out of nowhere and it faded away to reveal IT. Standing there grinning at me.

I looked to El she looked horrified I forgot that she hadn't seen it till now. El stepped away from me towards the thing it stayed,not moving a inch. Still standing there it's glass like teeth swallowing me whole. El looked back at me and nodded then turned to it she put up her hand and looked at it hard.

The thing still smirked. Then she put up both hands and a scream erupted from her lungs. I sunk to my knees covering my ears and closing my eyes.

After the screaming had stoped I opened my eyes. El was collapsed in front of me no sign of it anywhere. I jogged to her bending down and pulling her up. "El...Eleven" I said she opens her eyes I let out a sigh. She sat up,I still kept my hand close to her those Incase she fell. With my help she stood to her feet leaning on me for support.

"I-is it gone?" I asked her.

She wiped her nose and nodded "yes" a weight seemed to lift from my shoulders. I grabbed El and hugged her tightly.

"Thank you" I said to her. She hugged me back and said.

"Your welcome" we separated and looked around,the void was different now it seemed to be.....fading.

"How do we get out?" I asked. El took my hand and closed her eyes it did to.

"Dustin!" I heard as a body slammed into me. It was Emily.

"El!" Mike yelled running to her. She was laying on the couch drained. She opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Mike" she said weakly Mike sat next to her and cradled her in his arms.

"So?" My eyes went to Lukas who had asked. Max and him looking at me eagerly. Will and Steve were sitting next to each other Steve had his arm around Will's shoulders.

"Gone" El said drawing all eyes to her. It was........it was gone.

I looked at the party to see smiles spreading across my friends faces. As they tackled each other in hugs. "Is it really gone" Emily asked.

I looked to her she had tears in her eyes and was clutching my arm. "Ya..it is" I said she smiled and through herself into my arms.

Emily's POV

It's gone,finally no more nightmares or headaches. I hugged him for a long time before hands pushed me off. "Alright take turns" I backed away to see Steve. He bent down so he could look Dustin in the eyes.

"Strong remember" he said a smile spread across Dustin's face as he through himself into Steve. They hugged for a minute then separated.

"Thanks Steve" he said.

"No problem buddy" Steve said clapping Dustin on the shoulder before getting up and returning to his stop on the floor. Then Will and Lukas slammed into him almost making me fall off the couch.

"Don't kill him geez" I said they backed off and laughed at my comment. Then Max came over and gave Dustin a hug not as crazy as the boys. After everyone had had there moment we all sat in silence for a while.

"Now what?" Will said. We all looked at each other.

"Now we be normal again" Lukas said.

"I don't think that's possible stalker" Max said to Lukas his head lowered. "but we can try" she said shoving him. I hoped we could, to at least some extent.

Considering what we'd gone through I don't think we could ever be 100% normal again.

I hadn't thought about this until now. But it has been almost a year since I joined the party. Since all this crazy was thrown at me. Getting friends a boyfriend. Dealing with the upside down. My dad,and the other things that come with being a kid.

I wasn't sure but I think that it was over.....hopefully.

Yay it's finally out of him!!!!!!

Also guys I'm going to crazy throw this at you out of nowhere. But there's only going to be one more chapter to this story. I came up with a good ending and I think it will work.
