Following the establishment of the RESISTANCE headed by General Leia Organa, the FIRST ORDER'S enemies have grown a hundred-fold. Although the galaxy largely does not consider the military junta a threat, others have begun to see the dangers it could pose. With their adversaries multiplying and their primary weapon, STARKILLER BASE, not yet fully operational, Supreme Leader Snoke knows he must start silencing any dissenting voices. So as to let the senators on his payroll continue to keep the New Republic's eyes elsewhere.
In an attempt to do just that, he has personally traveled to the outer rim planet of Ord Cestus to oversee the final stages of a completely new and synthetic being still under construction. One that will bring the Resistance to its knees and allow the First Order to continue spreading its darkness across the galaxy . . .
