I had to go grab a shower after the show as I was so sweaty. Once I came out I told the guys I was going to head for a walk to try and relax before bed. I grabbed a six pack of miller lite from the fridge back stage and headed down to the beach. As I made my way to a secluded area in the beach I saw a silhouette of someone sitting at the water edge. It was Harper. This night just got better 😉
"Penny for your thoughts" I said as I walked up behind her
"Oh my god Luke you scared me half to death" she said holding her chest
"I'm sorry darlin' I didn't mean to. Would you like a beer" I asked
"Yeah might calm me down" she laughed
I sat down next to her and handed her a beer.
"You seem to making a habit of sitting all alone, I thought you would be partying it up with your friends" I said taking a long drink for my bottle
"Yeah so did I but they hooked up with some guys and I was soon forgotten" she said saddened
"Well those guys don't know what they are missing" I said
"Your only trying to make me feel better. Any way where's your wife?" She asked changing the subject.
"She has a "headache"" I said using air commas
"Oh I see." She said knowing fine well I was being sarcastic.
"So Harper, tell me about yourself" I asked
"Well I'm Harper McGee, 25 from Mt Juliet Tennessee. I have two brothers. I currently work as a receptionist at the local vet but I am currently studying to be a vet, I know I'm a late learner but I couldn't make my mind up what I wanted to do at college so I majored in the wrong thing." She said
"I love animals. Especially dogs. I have four in total" I said
"I know I seen them on social media. Your wife also has a farm as well" she said
"Yes she does in honour of my niece" I said "so how are you enjoying the weekend" I asked changing the subject.
"Loving it, this is my second year. I'm still
In complete shock that I'm sitting on the beach with my absolute idol having a beer I am so lucky" she smiled
"I'm the lucky one" I said tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear
"What are you doing" she asked confused
"Well if you will let me I would like to kiss you" I said
"Your married" she whispered
"And I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since I saw you in reception."I said moving closer
Our lips were so close and I whispered
"Well"
"Fuck it you only live once" she said before crashing her lips on to mine
