Chapter 28

I woke up tangled in sticky sheets with Harper laying naked beside me. She wasn't kidding when she said she didn't want this night to end. We must have had sex about 6 times I have never did that with anyone in my life let alone in my forties. I felt her stir
"Good Morning Baby" I said kissing her head
"Morning" She grumbled
"We need to get up if we are going to make it into the city at a reasonable hour" I said rolling out of bed and walking to the shower
"Aarrrrgghhh wake me up when ur out the shower" she moaned
"Not a morning person are we" I laughed as I closed the door. I didn't hear her reply which was probably a good thing.
Five minutes later I heard her come into the bathroom
"I missed you and I couldn't stand being out there when I knew you where in here butt naked" she laughed joining me in the shower
"You are insatiable baby" I said
"It's you who brings it out in me" she said kissing me.
We didn't have sex but we fooled around a little.
I got out and got dressed while she finished up in the bathroom. She came out with a towel wrapped around her
"I used some of Caroline's stuff in there I hope she don't mind" she laughed
"Oh yeah I'm sure she won't mind that her husbands girlfriend used her stuff" I just realised what I said
"I em I'm sorry I didn't mean that" I stuttered
"Well I kinda hope you did. I know this might sound slutty but I don't mind being the other woman" she said dropping her towel and reaching for her bag
"Looking like that darling I wish you where my only woman" I smiled
"Luke I'll always be the other woman as long as your married" she said
"I know I know. I should have filed for divorce as soon as she cheated but I didn't want the bad publicity and now look at me. I have fell for someone else and I have this" I held up my hand showing my ring and the tattood C on my finger " to remind me of the bad choice I made" I said
"Let's not y'all about this just now. We will just see where this goes" she said
We where silent for a few minutes as she got ready.
"I'll make breakfast" I said
"Sure. Can you make pancakes" she asked
"Girl my pancakes are legendary my kids love them. Chocolate chips or blueberry?" I asked
"Chocolate chip please and I need some strong coffee because someone kept me up all night fucking" she laughed
"Well you need to stop being so damn sexy" I said going downstairs to get breakfast ready.
