Sometimes you can't fight your feelings.

Chapter 22

My eyes open and for a minute I can't remember where I am. Then I look down and I see Harper's head laying on my bare chest and I smile. I feel
Her stir
"Morning darlin'" I said kissing her head
"It is now" she said smiling
There was a knock at the door
"Hey guys are you decent" Ally called
"Yes come in" she called
I hurried to pull the covers over me which caused Harper to laugh
"Hey Luke I'm Ally" she blushed
"Hey darlin' thanks for letting me stay, much appreciated" I said
"I don't think that little lady cuddling into you would forgive me if I let you sleep on the sand" she laughed "anyway I'm going to get breakfast, would y'all like anything" she asked
"As much as I would love to say yes I really must get back before my boys wonder where I am" I said as I got up and pulled on my shorts.
"Don't you mean your wife" Harper's muttered
"On that note I'm outta here" Ally said making a quick exit.
I sat on the edge of the bed and stroked her leg
"Baby yes she is my wife but as far as I'm concerned it's only on paper. I need to go before the boys wake and I don't really wanna explain to a 7 and 9 year old that there daddy wasn't home last night because he was having the best sex he has ever had with the most beautiful girl in the whole of Mexico"  I said kissing her lips lightly
"Flattery will get you nowhere Mr Bryan" she said against my lips
"As much as I want to give you a repeat of last night I really need to get going. When is your flight leaving" I said
"We leave for the airport at 7pm"
"I promise I will see you before you both leave ok. I really should spend time with Bo and Tate" I said
"Ok don't worry if you don't have time I understand I have had my fair share of you" she said saddened
"Baby I will always have time for you. I wish you could spend the day with us but I don't think that would be a good idea do you" I said a little more snarky than anticipated
"It's ok. You better get going and if I don't see you later then thank you so much for this weekend" she said
"Baby I'll see you I promise" I said kissing her head "See ya later" I said going out the door and as I looked back I saw her wipe a tear
I felt like such an ass. But I needed to leave.

I was making my way back to the villa and I saw Mama and the boys
"Dadddddddyyyy" they both yelled as they ran to me.
"Hi buddies" I said giving them a hug
"We went into your room this morning and you weren't there, where was you" they asked
"Yeah Luke where were you" Mama asked
"I had a bit much to drink crashed at uncle carters" I said. But I knew Mama knew me better
"Boys why don't you go grab and table and Meemaw and me will be in for breakfast then we can have a fun day together. You can ask Mama if she wants to come" I said hopefully trying to cover my tracks and put mama off the scent. 
They both ran into the restaurant and Mama was staring me down
"What" I said
"Don't what me boy. I know that look and that's the look of someone who has been up to no good" she said
"Mama I had a meeting with Kerrie then the band and I had a few drinks and you know what I'm like when I get started." I lied which I hated doing to my mama.
