Chapter 17

Luke's PoV

I was singing Country Girl and having a blast when I looked and saw Harper and some guy grinding up on one another.  So I took it upon my dumb self to have a girl up on stage, and an even dumber me picked her best friend Ally. I pulled her up and we were shaking it like the song said. I turned and looked for Harper and I seen her leaving. Fuck. I couldn't go after her I was in the middle of a set. The song finished and I hugged Ally and got the crowd to congratulate her for being a good sport. She was drunk so I don't think she cared what was happening. I noticed when Ally got off the stage she started to look for Harper but she wasn't there and the last I seen she headed off somewhere.
There was nothing I could do I needed to finish my set.

Harper's POV

"Whoa Harper wait up" I heard Ally call but I kept walking
"Harper girl where ya going stop please" she called again
I stopped and waited on her to catch up.
"Didn't you hear me calling you? Did you see me on stage omg Harper it was sooooooo good" she slurred
"Yeah I seen you, you go girl" I said a little pissed.
I started to walk to somewhere quieter
"Hey where you going, you not staying till the end of the concert Luke is on fire tonight" she said
"I don't feel to good needed to get away from the crowd" I lied
"Don't lie Harper I know somethings up you look like y'all are gonna burst into tears at any moment" she said putting her arm around me.
"I can't tell you" I whispered
"Come on we have been friends all our lives. We are like sisters. I promise I won't say anything to anyone" she said
"Promise"
"Pinky promise" she replied
"Ok I don't need you getting all judgemental and hyper when I tell you, but these here" I said pointing to the ever fading hickeys on my neck "these where from the guy you where just grinding with up on that stage"
Her face was a picture of shock
"No fucking way girl. ... Luke as in Luke fucking Bryan" she said a little loud.
"Shhhhhh" I said
"Sorry but oh my actual god. How when where" she was saying way to fast for her lips to keep up
"Friday on the beach and yesterday we went out on a boat" I said
"Did you fuck him is it still going on" she asked
"Yip and it was the best I have ever had Ally. And yes it's still going on. Those beers came from him. I wasn't at the bar I was backstage" I said
"No way. But his wife is here how the hell"
"I know. His manager knows and Carter but that's it. Please don't tell the others. I'm supposed to meet him tonight but I don't know after that stunt he pulled with you just because he saw some guy dance with me" I said saddened
"Harper don't be so damn stupid he did that because he likes you and that's obvious now I think about it. The tension between y'all was there now I know about you. Go to him as planned" she said
Just at that my phones pinged. It was Luke.

I showed Ally,
"What should I do"
"Get to the bar grab a beer and me and you are heading back to watch your hottie shake it but don't text him back make him sweat" she laughed
