Chapter 15

I didn't even look back as I stormed through the doors towards my dressing room.
"If she attempts to come back stage then deal with her Kerrie. I have fucking had it with her tonight." I shouted as I passed her.
"Luke what happened. Calm down please" she said trying to calm me.
"Her and her mind games. I told her that girls will
Swoon over me and she knows what it's like fuck we have been married how long. And she shows me up in front of everyone. Accusing me of fucking a fan." I said
"Luke listen to me. I know about you and that girl. I didn't want to say anything but I saw you that night on the beach. And I also saw the way you looked at her tonight. No wonder Caroline picked up in it. You could cyst the sexual tension with a knife" she said quietly
"Fuck. Fuck Fuck. Kerrie please don't say anything" I pleaded
"Luke I have covered for you so many times it comes like second nature to me. So I won't say anything as long as it don't effect your career. But one thing I did notice was you look differently at this one. You look at her like you did when you can Caroline where just married." She said
"Kerrie I don't know what to do. Harper just.... god I don't know. It's such a mess but you can't help your feelings can you" I said sitting down with my head in my hands.
She came up and rubbed my back
"What will be will be Luke. But you have those boys to think about and then there is mama leclaire"
"I don't even wanna think of that. Harper leaves Monday but she does stay in Nashville so I could see her again."
"What does she want"
"To see me as well. I might need you to cover me for a little while tonight." I asked
"Who else knows" she asked
"Carter and that's it." I said
"Well I swear to god if you get caught I know nothing. You can tell Caroline that after the show you have a meeting with me ok but that's all I can do. If she sees you then on your head be it" she said
I was so happy I have her the biggest hug
"Thank you so much Kerrie I owe in fact I'm giving you a raise." I laughed "can I ask one more favor" I said with little puppy dog eyes
"What" she said a little irritated
"I'm gonna text Harper and tell her to come to the back entrance can you go meet her there for me and send her into my dressing room. I will be 5 mins tops and make sure Caroline don't come in" I asked
"You don't ask for much do you. Fine text her and this is my last involvement. When we get back home your on your own" she laughed
She walked to the back and I quickly text Harper
Luke💘: Hey come to the back entrance alone my manager will let you through I need to see you. Come alone x
Harper🌸: On my way x
About five minutes later my dressing room door knocked I rushed over to answer it and it was Harper and Kerrie
"I will watch the door Luke you have five minutes. Nice to meet Harper god knows what you see in
This idiot" she laughed closing the door
I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her
"Hey" I said breaking free
"Hey yourself" she smiled
"Where's your wife" she asked
"I told her to go she was irritating me" I said still hugging her
"So will I see you tonight" she said kissing my neck
"Hell yes. Kerrie is covering for me" I said
"How did she find out" she said moving over to the table and taking a beer
"She saw us on the beach" I said
"Oh, your lucky she is covering for you." She said
"That I am but even luckier to have found you darlin'. After the show come to the same area once you are alone. Text me when you are there and I will let you in ok"
"Ok. Anything to have more time with you" she said making her way over to me and kissing me.
"You better go I'm due on stage in ten minutes. Try and get to the front so I can shake it for you" I said
"Oh Amy is already there. I better take some of your beers that where I said I was going" she laughed
"Take as much as you want baby. I will see you later" I said giving her one last kiss as she left.
I actually think am falling deep for that girl.
