I call Sergio to let him know about my final choice about going to his practices.

I dont know if he's gonna be happy or not.
Just kind of scared.
It's weird because now I care what he thinks of my choices or me. Which I never have before.

Ring.

Ring.

"¡Hola amor!" he answers, with gleaming joy.

"Haha hey, so you want my answer?" I twirl my finger in my hair, biting my lip.

He goes silent. "About what, I never asked you anything." He says, seriously.

"You're kidding?" I nervously laugh.

He chuckles, "Are you okay?"

"Wait, what."

He hastily whispers, "I didn't ask you a thing."

"Okay, well. I am coming to your practices.." I trail into emptiness, stopping my sentence.

Silence.

"To my practices? Oh I already took your answer as a yes." He laughs hard, snorting.

"Excuse me," I cough. " Since when do you decide my decisions?" I sass.

"Give me a sec." he says.

I hear yelling on the other line.

"Sergito?"

".......muffled sounds....Okay, hey!"

"Um what was that?" I ask, weirded out.

"Nothing, Just a little rage. I can't even mess with my best friend without her getting offended. Doesn't that suck?" He laughs sarcastically.

"Whatever."

-

Waking up, I did my morning routine, and somehow something felt missing.

Oh wait.
Sergio didn't spam me.
Well okay.

I feel bad, so I give him a ring.

And it rings then I hear a muffled Sergio.

"Marinita??? Give me a second! I'm showering!" He sounded muffled, saying his sentence fast and confused.

"Okay!" I say.

For some reason, the thought of Sergio wet with soap makes me wonder.

Would his abs be slippery or some-

"Hey, I'm back!" He catches me off guard and hears me mumbling.

"Marinita..!" He yells.

"Oh si, Sergio?" I reply, quickly.

"Haha, after I get all dressed, want to get a bite to eat?" he asks.

"Sure.....erm..uh..." I trail off.

"What?" He sounds like a curious baby.

"Well there's a problem." I tap the phone.

"And what is this problem..?" He wonders.

"I'm not hungry." I mutter.

"Oh Marina. Just meet me there." he sighs, chuckling.

I didn't wanna go, but I called him so I'm stuck with the little brat for now.

Slipped on some jeans, black Vans, and a black top.

It's just Sergio, I'm seeing, I think as I pin up my hair into a bun.

-

The door is opened by a slim figure, so I slide in beside them before the glass door closes.

I spy the blonde bearded man, and call out to him, "Sergio, hey."

He looks up from his tapping fingers, and springs up from his seat to wrap his arms around me, "MARINITA, HELLO!"

"Can I breathe, now?" I gasp, as his strong, muscular arms lose its lock on me.

"Sorry, I got excited." He says, giddy.

I laugh and go to the charcoal seat where he was, but he stopped me and pulled the chair out for me.

"For you, madam," And winks.

"You're annoying." I roll my eyes, sitting down.

It felt weird, talking to him all over again.

He takes a sip of his coffee, then his brown eyes look up and says,

"So, Marinita. Are you excited to meet the boys?"

"Who? You have kids?" I stare into eyes, my face going all pale.

He tries to hold his laughs in, but then they all burst out.

"No, silly. My teammates." He says, wiping a tear away from his eye.

"Oh. Well, in that case, no. They have no idea why or what I'm doing there."

I look hard into the saucer and cup of mine.

"Trust me, they know." He smirks, and goes back to his coffee.

What was he planning?
