Alex's P.O.V.

"Alex! Sweetie, are you awake?" I was startled from my sleep at 9:17, due to my mom yelling through my door.

"I, uh, yes! I'm awake, but don't come in… I'm changing!" I called back, desperately trying to keep her from walking in and seeing how I slept in Jack's arms, who was now awake and staring at me with wide eyes.

"Alright honey, I called the school to tell them you're sick, since I figured you wouldn't want to go after what happened yesterday. Come downstairs when you're ready, I'll make breakfast." she replied.

"Thanks!" I yelled, hearing her footsteps descending down the stairs, finally.

I looked back to Jack, and found him laughing hysterically.

"Oh shit, that was close. Things almost got really awkward there." he chuckled, a devilish grin on his face.

"No kidding. Wait, how the hell am I gonna explain you being here?" I said, my mind suddenly racing for a reason that there had been a boy sleeping in my room.

"Well, you can start by telling the truth about getting dressed, go change," he said, still grinning. "I guess I should too, but I don't have any clothes..."

"Oh, right - hey, you look about my size, try these," I replied, throwing a random pair of skinny jeans and a Blink-182 shirt at him.

"Thanks. So, is there a bathroom, or..." he muttered, so quietly that I could barely hear him. I laughed at his sudden modesty.

"Nope, I suppose we'll just have to change in here." I said, smiling like a fool.

Grumbling, Jack turned towards the wall and pulled off his shirt. Even though I could only see his bare back, I found myself mesmerized, and unable to tear my eyes away from his body.

In all honesty, it was nothing that spectacular: he wasn't muscled, but he wasn't fat, he was lean, lanky, and skinny, yet somehow completely perfect. After he pulled on the shirt I gave him, his jeans came off, revealing dark blue boxer briefs.

My mind simply stopped working for the few moments it took him to get the new pair of jeans on. I was, for lack of a more civilized phrase, staring at his round ass, mouth hanging open.

After getting dressed, the dark-haired boy turned, and saw me looking at him.

Jack's P.O.V.

"Alex? Have you been staring at me this whole time?" I questioned quietly, feeling my face set on fire.

"I, uh, I-I... no?" he replied, smirking.

"Pervert," I muttered, "are you gonna change or not?" I retorted.

"Oh, yeah, I should probably do that..." he said, and then proceeded to change right in front of me, into black skinny jeans and a green and white plaid button-up shirt, at the speed of light.

Before I could say anything, he said, "Alright, let's go downstairs," before turning to walk out of his room. He paused and looked in the mirror on the back of his door, fixing his hair. Then, he swore, and turned to me.

"Godamnit Jack, you gave me a hickey!" he exclaimed, pointing to his neck. I could only laugh as he grabbed a black scarf and wrapped it around his neck, covering up the evidence of last night.

He walked quickly out of the room, and I followed, still slightly in  a daze.

Why was he staring at me? Does he think I’m... attractive? No, of course not, I'm disgusting. He must have been wondering how someone could look so terrible, I decided in my head.
