Alex's P.O.V.
I laid my head on Jack's shoulder, eyelids uselessly shut, tuned out of whatever conversation was shooting between Jack, Matt and Alex G. I'd lost track long ago, somewhere around the time that Alex G. started explaining quantum physics.
“Lex,” Jack whispered, lips brushing my hair, beanie discarded, strands ruffled and messed, “are you awake?”
“Mmmhmpf.” I mumbled in response, shifting the leg I had resting over his tiredly.
I heard muffled giggles from the other side of the room, a quiet squeal of ‘Stop it!’. Oddly enough, it didn’t sound like Matt’s usual high pitched shriek. But if it wasn’t Matt, and Jack was next to me, then it had to be… Alex G.? Since when did he squeal?
“Nnmuhuh,” I forced out, voice rusty from lack of conversation, “what’s going on over there?”
Jack chuckled quietly, tightening his grip on my shoulders, hand absentmindedly brushing the fabric of my shirt as he responded, “Well, if I didn’t know better, I’d say that they were flirting.”
“F-flirting?” I gasped, louder than intended, causing the room to fall into an awkward silence. Shit.
“Err… who’s flirting?” Alex G. questioned, voice lacking its usual confidence, instead tinged with doubt and apprehension.
Jack shifted beside me, sifting up further on my bed, comforter wrinkling beneath us as he bluntly replied, “You.”
Some unidentified shuffling followed, along with a few awkward coughs, before my boyfriend was tugging urgently on my arm, murmuring in my ear, “Babe, we gotta leave.”
I allowed myself to be pulled up and ushered from my room, without a clue as to why. Only once we had begun to stumble down the stairs – losing my sight had made simple, basic coordination tasks just bar impossible – did I curiously ask, “Jacky? What just happened?”
The taller boy waited until we reached my kitchen, releasing his grip on me and instead going to ruffle through the fridge, before he started laughing hysterically, a bewildered me standing stupidly in the middle of the floor, lost.
“Uh, well, they, uh-“ he cut himself off, high pitched giggle interrupting Jack’s stumbled words, “Ok. So after I said that, Alex G. kinda looked at Matt and curiously, and Matt did this weird giggle, blush, hide his face thing and then they looked at each other and… started making out. So. I figured we were no longer wanted. Sandwich?”
Mind blank, my back hit the counter, sliding to the floor, legs pretzling as I tried to comprehend that. Honestly, Alex G. and Matt weren’t all that surprising. They were always together, had been best friends since the break of time, and had this weird tension. Sexual tension.
My stomach caught up with me at about the same time as those thoughts, an angry growl sounding through the room as I replied, “Uh. Peanut butter and jelly?”
“Milk, too?” Jack asked, cabinets slamming as he assumingly collected ingredients, feeding me, as I couldn’t.
“You know me so well.” I replied belatedly, head spinning as I let it fall, banging against the wood behind me.

My boyfriend rapped his knuckles against my doorframe, us standing outside, precariously balancing plates of food as he called, “Are you two done making out or what?”
Alex G. stuttered out something unintelligible, continuing to act out of character, as typical Matt giggled loudly.
Jack placed a hand on my lower back, carefully avoiding the bandages as he pushed me through the doorway, setting down his own dishes before grabbing mine. I’d have no idea where to put them.
We settled back into our previous position, cuddled together on my bed, sandwich nestled in my lap as I cautiously began, “So… are we gonna talk about it, or what?”
“Matt and I have decided to constitute a relationship.” Alex G. declared, voice ringing with authority. He seemed to be back in his element, confusing the shit out of me.
I decided to assume that meant they were going out. Odd couple, but hey, good for them.
“Right. Counterstrike, anyone?” Jack suggested, efficiently dismissing the topic.
I shrugged to myself as everyone seconded his idea, someone moving to put the game in, a controller appearing in my hands.

Jack’s P.O.V.
Our lips slotted together, my fingers gripping at Alex’s skinny dark denim sheathed hips. His knees shuffled on either side of me, fingers tugging at the short ebony hairs on the back of my neck, back arched down, chests brushing fleetingly.
Matt and Alex G. had left a few hours ago, their announcement barely acknowledged, random video games and snippets of disjointed conversation making up the rest of their visit. My boyfriend and I were now settled on depleted brown couch. I wasn’t actually sure how we’d gotten into this position – we’d been watching Project Runway, courtesy of my brunette’s pout – but I sure as hell wasn’t complaining.
Alex sighed against my lips, arms wrapping tighter around my neck. He bit my lower lip, tugging it between his teeth, grin tinting the corners of his mouth.
My hands slipped under the hem of his t-shirt, flannel fluttering at his sides, thumbs stroking circles on his hips. The older boy’s mouth molded to mine once more, tongue slipping past my lips, sliding together.
He angled his body, pushing it further towards mine, his slight height advantage due to the position causing difficulties. Alex grunted into my mouth, hands going to my shoulders, pushing purposefully.
Catching on, I slid down, our bodies somehow managing to maneuver so that the brunette was lying on top of me, bodies flush together, my hands lost against the skin of his waist, smooth and warm and perfect.
I whimpered involuntarily, Alex smirking, lips moving to suck on my neck, teeth nipping. Groaning, I threw my head back against the pillow, exposing the pale skin of my neck, giving my boy undiluted access.
He seemed pleased, smirking as he bit behind my ear, eliciting a moan from my throat. One of my hands attached itself to his burgundy strands, tugging his head back towards mine, lips colliding in a passionate kiss.
Our tongues tangled for a few more minutes, lost in each other’s embrace, flesh explored and mouths mapped before Heidi Klum began, “And the winner is…”
Alex shot up during the excessively dramatic pause, hair ruffled and clothes disheveled as he squealed.
“Christian.” she announced, an ecstatic looking short designer smiling calculatedly.
Alex grinned, shuffling into my lap, back pressing to my chest as my hands latched around his waist, the shorter boy’s attention once again focused on the TV. I just smiled at him lovingly, an unnoticed hand brushing the hair out of his eyes. Eyes that still didn’t see, but, as it seemed, we could learn to live with that.
