[thank you all for 8k! Did I already thank you guys for it? Idk. Also, if you didn't know, Will is now on the cube! Skcjwoloojsjucwkkska]

Jordan's heart was thumping as he dialed the number. Weeks of preparation had lead up to this moment, he could only hope it had all been worth it.

Will picked up after what seemed like a lifetime of baited breath and dull ringing.

"'Lo?" He said in his clear British accent.

"Will?" Jordan said, rubbing the fabric of his shirt between his thumb and middle finger.

"Hey man, what's up?" Will asked. Jordan could hear the typing of his keyboard in the background.

Jordan took a deep breath, and forced himself to say it. "Would you, uh, like to come visit me in Seattle?"

Will was silent. Finally he answered, "That'd be cool, for sure, but I really can't afford that right now."

Jordan swallowed. "Well, actually... I already bought you a ticket." He let out a nervous laugh after this, and waited for Will to respond.

Again, Will took a while to respond. "Jordan..." He started. "You didn't have to do that."

"I know." Jordan said, "but I wanted to. Your flight arrives here in a week, I'll send you the ticket." He then hung up before he had a full out panic attack.

-

It was the next week, in fact it was the day Will was meant to arrive. Jordan put on one of his favorite outfits, made sure his hair was perfect, and got to the airport an hour early just to make sure he didn't miss Will's flight landing.

He tweeted out "waiting at the airport for the bae ;)"

Will didn't respond to the tweet, which made Jordan nervous that he thought it was weird. No, it couldn't be that, they said stuff like that to each other all the time. Maybe he just wasn't on twitter right now.

After a very long hour of pacing back and forth across the airport, and sitting in one of the uncomfortable chairs- first crossing his legs, uncrossing, tapping his foot, and folding his arms, Will's plane landed.

Jordan stood up, scanning the crowd for a familiar mop of brown hair. When he at last had picked out Will, he waited anxiously, biting his lip.

They stood for a good minute and a half, just staring at each other awkwardly, before Will said laughing "What're we doing? C'mere man." And pulled him into a hug.

Will smelled like cold, fresh air and faintly of cologne, Jordan noticed as he held his friend tight. When they lifted their heads and stared at each other, arms still wrapped around, Will smiled cheekily, making Jordan blush.
