*** Loretto, Tennessee ***Sarah opens her eyes, turns to me and I can tell by her expression it's not good news.
"Okay, let me have it."
"We're too late. They've got them."
"Then we need to hurry."
I begin running through the woods with Sarah close behind. At the edge of the field overlooking the house we drop down into the tall grass. I can see two black SUV's in the driveway and three heavily armed agents behind the house.
"How many of them are there?"
"The three of them," she nods toward the ones we can see, "and five more inside. That's not counting the three SUV's filled with men waiting down the road."
As I start to get up Sarah grabs my arm. "In my vision an agent had a gun pointed at one of the girls heads."
"Alright," I say and kiss her. "I love you... Always."
Moving quickly before she can object I begin to run toward the house. Looking up at the tin roof I use my thoughts to bend the metal making a loud noise. The three turn toward the noise as I continue into the back yard and slow down.
As I ease up toward the one in the middle, the agent on the left turns toward me. Throwing out my hand he's hit in the stomach and flies backwards disappearing into the tall grass. The other two agents hear his cry and turn toward him. The agent on the right sees me, but before he can shout out a warning I throw him several feet in the opposite direction.
The agent in front of me turns back to see his other partner on the ground as well moaning in pain. Tapping him on the shoulder he spins to face me.
"Oh my God. It's you!"
He begins to raise his weapon and I use my thoughts to rip it out of his hand. "This just isn't your day, is it?" Releasing a burst of energy he's thrown into an old propane tank and slumps over.
Sarah catches up with me and we head toward the front. Easing up onto the porch we stop beside the picture window. I can see two agents with their backs to me and four teenagers restrained. As we listen, I can hear a familiar voice.
"And they thought this was going to be a blood bath," He says and uses his cell. "We have the objectives in custody. All other units stand down and maintain position."
I hear someone else.
"Why are you doing this? We haven't done anything wrong."
"It's simple really. The government has determined your kind to be a threat to national security. All of you will be spending the rest of your lives in a small cage until we learn everything about you."
I decide it's time to act while they're distracted. Using my thoughts I send the two agents crashing through the window and out onto the lawn.
Moving quickly, I head inside just as two more agents rush into the hall. Throwing out both hands they're flung back into the wall landing at the bottom of the staircase. Turning back to Sarah I can't help but grin.
"Let's go say hello."
As we walk into the archway of the living room Agent White turns toward us and raises his weapon. Before firing he hesitates, and actually looks a little surprised. "YOU!" He shouts and pulls the trigger.
Everyone screams as I Stop the round a couple feet in front of us, and let it drop to the floor. Before he can fire again I fling it from his hand, over the teen's heads, and into the fireplace.
