Turning around I watch the portal close. "Goodbye," I whisper as a single tear falls. There's been times when I thought this was it, and somehow I've always cheated death. But now I'll be fighting more than just Agents trying to kill me, or evil Paranormals. I'll be facing spirits from the other side, possessing the body of my sister.
"Hey, this area is off limits. Where did you come from anyway?" An Agent shouts and I turn to face him. "You," he says and draws his weapon. Using my thoughts I rip it from his hand and lands in mine.
"Before you do anything stupid I suggest you contact your boss. I'm here to help." As he grabs his cell and calls Keller I close my eyes and concentrate on Destiny. After a moment I sense her presence, and turn toward her direction. "She'll be here very soon."
As I open my eyes Agent White steps up beside me. "I've been given orders to stand our ground, and help you anyway we can." Handing him his gun I smerk at the irony. He's been trying to kill me since all this began.
"How many men do you have?"
"Around a hundred on site. The National Guard's been called out as well. They should be here anytime."
"Good. We're going to need them as a distraction."
"You're going to use tanks as a distraction?" He looks in the direction I am. "Has she really grown that powerful?"
"We're not facing my sister anymore," he turns to me confused. "We're facing something much worse."
As the tanks and armored vehicles arrive Agent White talks to their commander. After a moment they take up positions outside, and inside the fence. Once that's done Agent white and the military commander join me. "We're as ready as we're going to be," White says. "This is Captain Mitchell."
Holding out my hand, he refuses to take it. "I don't shake hands with your kind," he says with disgust clearly showing through.
"That's alright. I'm not here to make friends. I'm here, to stop what's to come."

"Kyle!" Sarah shouts as the portal closes. "No, please no," she whispers.
"Why did he do that? He asked us for his help, and then runs off without us," Max shouts and punches a wall.
Sarah glances at Kelsey and finds her staring at her. "You knew," she walks toward her. "You knew what he was going to do, didn't you?"
"Please Sarah, you don't understand. He's doing this for you. After the vision he had, he couldn't..." she pauses not sure if she should continue.
"Couldn't what?" She asks as her tears fall.
"Yeah, what vision?" Max asks as everyone gathers around her.
"Remember when the two of you were taken by the spirits?"
"Yeah, why?"
"He told, or rather showed me what he experienced. He was standing in the middle of a city and in every direction there was nothing but destruction and fire."
"Sarah, he watched you die," Kelsey says. Sarah turns away from everyone, as she remembers.
"Everything makes sense now. He sent you with us to rescue Jessica, so if he found Caitlin you wouldn't be with him to get hurt." Max says.
Keller enters the room. "I've got all the men available at the nuclear plant along with the local National Guard. And somehow Kyle has joined them."
