*** Outside of Warren, Arkansas... Maxwell's Camp ***Everyone arrives at the cabin out of breath... and laughing. As we go inside and sit down Maxwell and Beth have a surprised look on their faces.
"Well, it seems everyone's in a better mood," He looks at each of us in turn. "But I do have a question. Why are half of you soaking wet?"
"We just had a little something to work out," I say trying not to laugh.
"Yeah, and somehow we ended up in the creek," Max adds as Maxwell studies us for a moment.
"Whatever has happened, I'm glad to see you have everything settled." He walks around his desk and sits down on the front edge.
"I have received some news I know you'll be interested in." The look on his face gets everyone's attention. "It's been some time since we've had a location on Caitlin. As you may, or may not know, she's been able to block Sarah's ability so we've had any luck in finding her... until now." He turns to his right, "Beth..."
"Since we've had to move locations so frequently I haven't had the resources we had when we found you Kyle, but today... I got lucky." She picks up a remote, and turns on a monitor hanging on the wall. My heart skips a beat as I gaze at the picture of my Sister walking down a sidewalk.
"For our new friends information, this... is Caitlin Bryant. Kyle's half Sister," She turns to Hailey, "and it seems your's as well." Hailey and I glance at each other. All this is still so hard for me to believe.
"I intercepted an e-mail from a Special Unit Agent, and as you can see it's definitely her."
"Beth, where is she?" I ask sternly. She hesitates, and turns to Maxwell.
"Kyle, you know before you confront her we need to find out what she's doing there and create a plan," He says.
As I stand my heart is racing and several items in the room begin to shake.
"Just tell me where she is."
Sarah takes my hand and I look down at her. "Please... Kyle. We need our new friends if we're going to stop her. Remember when you faced her alone?" Everything in the room stops shaking as I calm myself... slightly.
"Alright, so what's the next step?"
"I'm searching for the reason she's in that area. As soon as I pinpoint that, we can work on a plan of attack," Beth says.
"By that time you figure that out she could be anywhere. Just tell me where she is!" I shout as a glass explodes.
"If I tell you, will you promise not to run off after her alone?" Maxwell asks.
"Yes... I promise."
"Very well. The picture was taken by a street security camera in Fort Worth, Texas."
*** 1313 Fatum Way Fort Worth, Texas ***
Caitlin stands before Laura, still under her power unable to move.
"Now that you know who and what I am, can we please have a pleasant conversation?" Caitlin manages to nod slightly and Laura releases her. "Good, now have a seat," she says and they both return to their chairs.
"I never thought witches were real."
"Well, I thought Paranormals only had one gift. You seem to have many, and are very powerful. So, it begs to question... exactly what are you?"
"Do you think I have the answer to that? Why I've been an outcast all my life, no friends to speak of, and when I found someone that I thought cared about me... they turned against me, like everyone else in my life!" She shouts.
