As I stand facing this, spirit, this demon, that's taken over Caitlin I begin to lose it.  My eyes, already black are changing as the crystal under my shirt pulses with blue energy.

"It seems I may have finally made you angry," Destiny says and folds her arms.

The ground begins to shake as concrete, twisted metal, and destroyed tanks lift into the air.  The power running through me is like nothing I've ever felt, and as I clench my fists my eyes... turn blue.

"You have the crystal," her grin fades. "No matter.  I'll destroy you the same as The Chosen Ones."

"Not... Today." With my thoughts I throw one of the tanks at her.  She sees it coming and deflects it to the side.  As she turns back to me a large piece of concrete hits her and she slides back still holding it. Seconds later it's hurled through the air toward me.  Holding up my hand it explodes and the rocks fall like rain.

Turning back toward Destiny I see her fly over me and land in a three point stance.  She screams and rushes forward hitting me square in the chest.  We tumble to the ground, and roll several times before coming to a stop, with her on top.

"Oh, what do we have here," she says and reaches for the crystal. As she touches it she's hit with a massive electrical shock and is thrown off of me landing on her back shrieking in pain.

Rolling over I stand quickly. "My turn."

Reaching out my hand I use my thoughts and drag her to me. As I'm about to drop down and end this I hear her cry. She has her hands over her eyes and her arms are dripping with blood from her cuts. Could the electrical shock have forced Destiny from her body?

"Sis?" Leaning down I hope to find my sister. "Sis move your hands so I can see your eyes."

"No! Kyle please don't hurt me," she continues to cry.

It sounds like her voice, and my eyes begin to fade. "I promise I'll never hurt you again."

She quickly moves her hands, "Gotcha!" A wave of power hits throwing me several feet away slamming me against a pile of debris. Shaking it off, I watch her rise to her feet without bending her knees. As I force myself to stand, I notice Sarah's lifeless body lying close to me. I begin shaking with anger as the crystal and my eyes turn dark blue.

Turning back to Destiny I begin to walk toward her. I know what I have to do to get rid of this spirit. Kill, my sister.

"Your weakness is that you care. That's why I'm destined to win," she says and grins evilly.

"Not anymore," I say and throw out both hands releasing two streams of energy. She does the same and our power hits in between us. Struggling to remain standing, I feel my feet slide in the gravel.

"Accept your fate brother and I'll finish you and the girls off quickly."

My anger increases, and so does the power flowing through me. Gritting my teeth I send out more energy and begin to step forward. Destiny reacts by trying to do the same and as she does, an explosion throws us apart.

Getting to my feet first I leap into the air and land on top of her. She wakes up and laughs. "You know you can't kill me. I'm your sister, remember?" She laughs and I begin punching her in the face as hard as I can. She tries to fight back, but with my thoughts I keep her arms pinned.

After several hits her laughter turns to screams. With every strike she becomes weaker and blood begins to gush from her wounds. Seeing her eyes begin to fade I pause and a black mist flows out of her mouth into the air. Continuing it's retreat, I watch until it's out of sight.

Turning back around I look down to see not an enemy, not someone who's trying to kill me, but... my sister.

"Caitlin? Sis, can you hear me?"

Her eyes focus on me and she tries to grin. "Thanks for saving me," She says in a raspy voice as the blood from the wounds that I created continues to pool on the ground.

"Sis, hang in there. I'll get you some help." Looking around all I see is fire and destruction. I know there's no help to be found. "I've lost everyone I love, and now by my own hand, I'm about to lose Caitlin."

"I'm sorry Kyle. I should've trusted you," she gently takes my hand. "I love you." As she says this her eyes glaze... and she's gone.

"Caitlin, Sis?" Realizing what's happened I scream and slam my fists into the dirt releasing a shockwave in all directions that shakes the ground.

After a moment I stagger to my feet. Anger and heartache intensifies the power flowing through me and as I look to my left, a wrecked tank flies through the air and rolls several times. Looking to my right what's left of a reinforced reactor wall explodes into dust.

"Everyone I Love is gone," I think and remember Megan and Hailey. "Now I've destroyed their lives as well. They told me that Haunted book of theirs said 'Only separate, can they be defeated."

Looking up I scream at the sky. "Elders, or whatever you are. You lied! Why did you let this happen?" There's nothing but silence. "Are you afraid to face me?" Picking up a rock I throw it into the air.  "I hate you!"

Falling to my knees, I begin to sob. "Sarah... I'm so sorry." The loss I feel hurts down to my very soul. "I can't do this without you," I whisper and to my right another of the destroyed tanks lifts into the air. It continues to move and stops above me. "Forgive me..." I whisper, close my eyes, and let it go.

As I wait for the end I find nothing happens. Opening my eyes I see the shadow of someone standing in front of me. Looking up I find three old men wearing grey robes.  As I stand to face them the tank lands softly on the ground next to me.

"Please," I say through my tears. "Tell me why did you give me the vision, if there wasn't anything I could do about it?"

The one in the middle takes me into his arms, leans up and whispers in my ear. I become disoriented as he speaks.  After a moment he backs away, and I snap out of it.  He stares at me, and nods. "Remember..." the three whisper in unison and they fade away.

"What does that mean. What am I supposed to remember?" Suddenly I'm hit with flashes of everything I've been through from me protecting Sheila when my powers first surfaced to the Elders.  And the last image I see is this symbol ♾.  "I've seen that before, but where." The tattoo on Hailey's shoulder enters my mind.  "That's it!"

Making my way through the rubble I find Megan sitting beside Hailey. Dropping to my knees I try to snap them out of it. "Girls," Megan looks at me but Hailey doesn't. "Come on Hailey. I need you too." She finally turns to me.

"This isn't over. We still have a chance."

"Max, and Logan are dead. And we're done as well," Megan whispers.

"Trust me," I say and reach out both hands. "If there's the slightest chance to make things right, shouldn't we take it?"

Megan reaches out, takes my hand, and with her last bit of strength turns to Hailey.  "Do it for Max."  As a tear falls she lets go of him, and takes my hand.  Suddenly a burst of energy surges through us as the crystal and our eyes turn blue.

"Girls," they both look at me.

"We can hear your thoughts." I hear Megan's voice.

"I, I don't understand." I hear Hailey's voice as well, and both seem stronger.

"Trust me, and repeat my words."  The two glance at each other and nod.

"United together, We stand as one...  For what has been, May be undone."

After the third time we say, it a light seems to shine on us from all directions.  It gets brighter and brighter until none of us can see.
