Chapter 4

Annabeths p.o.v

Percy came and picked me up. He looked so handsome. Percy never wears suits so it meant a lot that he would wear one for tonight. Gods two years that we've been together. I mean I've known him since we were twelve. And now we're 18 and finally together and happy. I knew as long as we had each other life would be just fine.
I hopped in his car and we started driving. "So where are we going" I asked him. All he replied with was "You'll see wise girl, just wait" I sighed "Percy you know I don't like not knowing" he laughed. "I know we're almost there though." We drove for about 10 more minutes until we reached a cute little beach.
Percy and I got out. "No offense Percy but why'd we get so dressed up for a beach?" "Come on" he grabbed my hand and we walked on kinda peninsula rock cliff thingy. He turned to me and smiled. "Jump" he told me. "Um what, ok Percy I love you but I'm not getting soaked for date night." "Fine" he smiled that troublesome smile an it was too late to noticed what had happened. A wave washed over me and before I knew it I found myself in a bubble underwater with  Percy next to me. I was still dry at least. "Thanks for keeping me dry, but I'm still going to kill you." He laughed and kissed me. "We're here." My eyes widened I looked at all the beautiful structures. We were in some underwater kingdom. It reminded me of Rome. Everything was so beautiful.
    I thought I was gonna start crying. Everything was so perfect. He knew me so well I loved this so much. I looked up at Percy and gazed into his eyes. "This is amaz-" He cut me off before I could finish my sentence. "Your welcome wise girl." He smiled at me. I looked into his dark seaweed green eyes. They were gorgeous. I cupped his face and kissed him. A soft passionate kiss. That was when I realized how miserable I would be without him. If anything ever happened  to him oh gods. The thought made my heart ache. I kissed him harder enjoying the moment.
   We finally pulled away and he laced his fingers through mine. We floating towards the entrance of the whole place. When we entered out air bubble disappeared and I found myself able to breathe under water. Somehow air was being trapped inside this dome thing. Percy just smiled realizing how stunned I was.
   "Hungry" he asked me. I replied with "Starving." We walked to a nearby restaurant perfectly in sync with each other.
