A couple days went by since Percy's and I's date. I got really busy with designing Olympus. Anyway today I had a free day so I called Percy. "Hey Perc, are you free today?" "I'd thought you'd never ask" he said jokingly. "I drive by your apartment, be there in 10 mins" I told him I put my phone away and got dressed. I put on jean shorts and and light blue v neck t shirt. I tied my hair in a ponytail and put on my camp half blood necklace. I told my dad where I was going and hopped in the car. I drove to Percy's apartment complex. He rang me in, then opened the door. He smiled at me. His gorgeous smile filled me with happiness. "Hi" he said. I pecked him on the lips." Hey" I said while looking into his eyes and smiling. Percy called out to his mom saying that he was going to be leaving. We hopped in the car and decided we wanted to go to that place Percy's mom used to work at. We got out and walked inside the store. I linked my hand with Percy's. Once we got in we picked out the candy we wanted and brought our bag out to a bench in this park. Percy unwrapped a candy and handed it to me. "Annabeth try this oh my gods it's so good" I took it from him and popped it in my mouth. It was pretty good. I think it's some type of taffy. Percy put his arm around me and kissed me on the cheek. I snuggled up to him and enjoyed his comfort. I felt so safe with him. We sat like that for a while just enjoying each other's company. We had been so used to chaos all the time it was hard to relax. Soon Percy stood up. "What?" I asked him "Cmon lets go" he said while holding out his hand. "Where to?" I asked while standing up and grabbing his hand "You'll see" We walked the streets of New York City until we reached a store. Not just any store but a skate shop. Percy grinned and led me inside. He greeted the store clerk and before I knew what was happening the guy handed Percy a skateboard and we walked out of the store. "Wha... w.." I choked out "I'm going to teach you how to skate" "Your kidding" "Nope get on" "Percy I don't sk—" I was interrupted by Percy picking me up and placing me on the board. "I am going to kill you" I said with gritted teeth. Percy laughed and held out his hands. I grabbed onto his wrists for balance. He smiled at me. Then he started pulling me around. I laughed. When we came to a stop I hopped off the board. I play hit him and laughed.A really cold wind came over us and I shivered. Percy notice and placed his jacket around me. "Wow what a gentleman" I teased "Yes I am" he said before kissing me on the lips. We eventually walked back to that little park and sat back on the bench. "I actually have something for you wise girl" "Oh really what is it" "Close your eyes" I did as I was told and when I opened them a beautiful grey box was sitting in front of me. A necklace case. "I though you said we weren't gonna exchange gifts until next week" I asked him. "I know but I couldn't wait" I looked at the box then back at him. I kissed him on the lips and said "thank you." Then I gently opened the box to see what was inside. The chain was rose gold and they're was a grey stone in the middle of it. On the back it had "I love you wise girl" engraved in tiny cursive. "Percy this is amazing, I don't know what I did to deserve you" Percy laughed. "Well" "Shut up seaweed brain" I said before putting a hand under his chin and kissing him. He took the necklace and laced it around my neck. It looked so pretty on. I love this kid so friggen much
