Chapter 18

Annabeths p.o.v

Time:10pm
After about 1o minutes Percy and I had basically settled in. I walked up to Percy and put my arms around hisnneck, he followed wrapping his arms around my waist. "So what do you want to do" I asked flirtatiously kind of already knowing the answer. "This" he said as he laid me down on the bed. He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear before kissing me softly. He placed a hand on my leg before deepening the kiss. All I'm going say is things got heated, you can probably guess what we did after that. Hint it's what piper and I were talking about.
The next morning.....

I woke up and found myself wrapped in Percy's arms. I decided I would get up and get breakfast. I kissed him on the cheek and got up. I threw on his shirt (bc my clothes were gods knows where) and a pair of shorts then I headed to the lobby to get breakfast. Shortly after I had made two plates and I returned back to the room. I found Percy awake, and I walked over to him. "Morning" I said as I pecked him on the lips. He smiled. "Thank you for breakfast" he said. "Anytime seaweed brain" I replied. We sat on the bed and ate. We discussed that we would be leaving in about a half an hour for Percy's moms house. I changed into an light colored flannel and a pair of jeans.  I straightened everything out in my suit case and checked in with Percy. We were all good to go. We walked to the lobby and checked out. We went outside and were greeted by a cabby. We put our suitcases in the back and got it the car. We drove about two hours just sitting in silence Percy and I were watching a show together on his laptop. Eventually we arrived at Mrs. Jackson's apartment complex. We thanked the cab driver and got out. We climbed up what seemed like millions of stairs and finally made it to the top. Percy knocked on the door and his mom opened it happily. She hugged us both and let us inside.
"God I missed you guys so much" Mrs Jackson said. "Aw mom" Percy replied. I just smiled. Percy, Mrs Jackson, Paul, and I all just sat in the family room talking until it got dark. "I have an idea" Percy said. "We should have a bonfire" he continued on. Paul beamed. "That's a great idea, I'll set it up." He said. After about 10 minutes he headed outside in the backyard and sat around a fire. Percy and I shared one bench thingy while Paul and Sally shared the one straight across from us. He talked for about 15 minutes when all of a sudden I screamed and jumped there was a spider on my leg. Before I could finish screaming Percy was in-front of me with his sword out. He stood over me protectively. I calmed down gods I hated spiders. I turned around to him and he saw the look on my face. "Spider?" he said. He pulled me into a hug. "Gods annabeth you cant scare me like that." He said. "I know, I'm sorry" I replied. He pulled away and looked at me. "Okay I'm taking this" he said as he pulled my dagger out of my hand." I didn't even realize I had it in my hand. Instincts I guess. I totally forgot his parents were watching. I was so embarrassed. "Um sorry" I choked out as I sat down. Percy wrapped a  blanket around us as he put his one arm around me. "Oh I should explain" I said having an epiphany. "Um so there's this thing with spiders and Athenian kids-" I was cut off. "Wait , the whole your mom and archinne disput?" Paul said. Of course he knew. Anyway Paul went one to explain the whole entire problem scientifically. It felt like eternities had passed, even I was bored. Eventually we all went inside. Percy and I walked to his room. I set my bag down on the floor. And sat on his bed looking around. Percy came out of the bathroom and got into bed. We got under the blankets and snuggled up. Percy had his one arm around my waist pulling me closer to him, I rested my head on his chest and fell asleep.
