Chapter 26

Annabeths p.o.v

  We woke up and everything was the same. I was so thirsty but I couldn't concentrate on that because I was even more hungry. I groaned and held my head. I noticed Percy and Paul were awake. Percy rubbed my back. "I know" he said in a soothing voice. I looked up to find the man standing at the bars again. Percy locked him down with his eyes. This would be the part where Percy pulled out riptide but no. He was smart, he knew it would get taken away so he kept it in pants pocket. Percy pulled me close protectively still burning his eyes into the mans skull. "Good morning my prisoners, now if you wish to eat you much do something for me." he spoke. "What" Percy growled. "Give me the girl" he said while looking at me. I swallowed realizing he was talking about me. Percy scoffed. "No way" Percy said standing up playing it off all cool. I was so surprised on what Percy was saying,  why was he acting so chill. He paced to the other side of the room. I looked around at Paul and sally, they looked even more hungry then us. I couldn't be the reason they didn't get food.  I looked at door and it's hinges. It looked pretty high tech but not much. If I remembered correctly I had a quarter and a penny in my pocket. I had a plan "Give us the food first then I'll go with you." I said. Percy turned his head sharply at me. "Are you crazy!" He shouted. He ran his hand through his hair clearly stressed out. I stood up. "Percy I'll be fine" I yelled back. He came towards me and grabbed my arms. "How am I supposed to know that! Who knows what this creep wants to do with you! It's not happening that's final!" He said. I gave him this I have to look. "Alright lets go, clearly the girl has made up her mind and she wants to be with me" the man said. Percy looked around skeptically. "At least let me say goodbye" I said to the man. The man nodded and left us alone. I put my ear close to Percy's as I placed the coins in his hand. "Percy when I leave I want you to put the penny in the door hinge and the quarter up against where the door closes before it shuts, Okay. Trust me." I said. He nodded tears forming in his eyes he sneakily put riptide in my back pocket. I held the back of his head with my hand pulling his forehead to mine. I looked into his eyes. "I love you Percy, I wish we had more time" I said. There was a chance I would never see him again. I hugged Paul and sally goodbye. Percy couldn't look at me. I started walking toward the entrance when I felt someone grab my wrist, it was Percy. He whipped me around and pulled my close. He kissed me deep and ran his hand threw my hair. "I love you, be safe" he said. The man showed up and opened the door for me it was electronic so it wouldn't close until he pressed the button. I had to create a distraction. I fake fell on the man and knocked him on the floor. "Omg I'm so sorry I'm sooo clumsy" I told him. "It's fine" he growled. He slide 4 meals under the cell door and grabbed my wrist and dragging me away. I didn't look back.

So this chapter was kinda all over the place but whatever
I'm so sorry I haven't been able to write a lot lately I got extremely busy but from now on I will be posting more
Maybe I'll try to stick to a schedule idk
