At 12 o'clock I roll my suitcase to Christina's door. I knock, wishing for a response.
LAX isn't far from our apartment, so a few hours should be enough time to check our bags and get through the long lines at security. I didn't get any sleep last night knowing that i'll be seeing Jonah soon. I've missed him so much, as it's already been a month.
"Hey," Christina says dragging her suitcase out the door.
Together, we venture downstairs to the waiting uber that will drive us to the airport.
Once we are on the road, I send Jonah another text.

Me: Hey JoJo hows Texas?

I frown, at the many unread messages that come before this one.
Jonah hasn't responded to one of my texts in a week, which has never happened before. He also hasn't answered any of my calls- as they go straight to his voicemail.
"I'm sure he's just busy," Christina says patting my leg. She always knows what's bothering me, and exactly what to say to help.
I lean my head on her shoulder, and I drift off the rest of the way to the airport.

Christina and I roll our suitcases out the doors
to the texas airport- waiting for our uber to pick us up.
When the SUV pulls to the curb we stuff our bags into the trunk and direct the driver to the hotel
the boys are staying at for the next four days.
"I'm really excited," I say slightly bouncing up and down in my seat.
"Me too," Christina says grinning- with a slightly timid edge to her voice. It's understandable, considering she's about to propose to your longtime boyfriend.
We pull up outside of a very nice hotel, and we grab our bags from the back.
"Thank you," I say, handing the driver a 20 dollar bill.
We roll our suitcases to the front desk to ask for our room key.
We're about to enter the elevator when Zach and Jack come waltzing out holding their skateboards.
"Emma? Christina?" Jack says shocked, running into our arms.
"Hi!" we say in unison.
"What are you guys doing here!" Zach says giving us each hugs too.
"We came to surprise Corbyn and Jonah," Christina says with a huge grin on her face.
"Corbyn should be coming down the elevator any minute," Zach says smiling at her.
The elevator chimes as if on cue, and the doors slide open revealing a completely shocked Corbyn.
"CHRISTINA?" he yells, picking her up, and spinning her around.
"I missed you so much baby," Christina says kissing him passionately.
Jack and Jack exchange a smirk, and I can't help but smile.
"So, where's Jonah?" I ask curious- excited to see him.
Jack laughs softly and says, "He told us he wasn't feeling well, so he went back to his room a couple of hours ago."
"Corbyn can give you the key to the room after you guys drop your bags in your room,"
Zach adds.
Christina and I follow the boys up to our room- which is fortunately on the same floor as theirs.
I drop my suitcase onto my bed, watching as the boys and Christina pile onto hers.
"Here's the room key," Corbyn says with a smile, dangling it in his fingers.
I grab it and exit the room, leaving Jack, Zach, Corbyn, and Christina to watch a movie.
I walk down the hallway looking for Jonah and Corbyns room, when Daniel pops out of his.
"Emma?!" Daniel stammers- a huge smile appearing on his face.
"Dani!" I yell jumping into his arms.
"What are you doing here!" He asks incredulously.
"Christina and I came to visit Corbyn and Jonah." I smirk before adding, "if everything goes according to plan, Christina will leave with a ring on her finger."
"A proposal?!" Daniel yells happily. I place my hand over his mouth to quiet him, and he laughs.
I nod. "Christina found the ring hidden in one of Corbyns drawers, and is going to surprise him at dinner tomorrow night by proposing first! He'll have no idea!"
Daniels eyes soften and he sighs in admiration.
"That's absolutely adorable."
"Isn't it!" I say with a laugh.
"Are you looking for Jonah?" Daniel asks when he realizes why I was walking down the hall.
"Yep, Corbyn let me borrow his room key."
"I'll go with you," Daniel says closing his door behind him.
"Okay," I say continuing down the hallway.
When we get to room 260 I place the key card into the slot, and the door clicks open.
"You go ahead," Daniel says smiling. "I'll wait here."
I nod, and place my fingers along the handle.
I push the door open, to find the room completely dark.
'He must be asleep' I tell myself, squinting into the darkness.
I step into the room a few feet, and I stop dead in my tracks when I start to hear quiet noises. Noises that sound kind of like moaning- noises that get louder the farther into the room.
I close my eyes, hoping that I'm wrong. Hoping that the moaning sounds are coming from a vent, and not from my boyfriend.
I spot the light switch on the wall next to me. I hesitantly flip the switch on- light immediately illuminating the dark room.
My eyes search for the source of the sounds, quickly landing on Jonah, making out with a beautiful blonde girl on top of the bed.
'No' I think to myself. This cannot be happening.
When Jonah sees me, he sits straight up, and his eyes widen far enough to pop out of his head.
Completely stunned, Jonah says, "Em... Emma? What... what are you doing here?"
I just stare back at Jonah, incapable of words until his hookup says, "Jonah, who is that?"
'That's it' I think to myself.
I'm done playing Jonah's games.
With fire in my eyes I spit, "I'm his ex girlfriend."
Jonah's face contorts into a horrified expression, and he says, "No Em, please! Let me explain."
'Explain?' There's no words worth to explain what I just saw. What I just witnessed.
I turn around, swiftly walking towards the door.
I can hear Jonah's footsteps following me, and his strong arm pulling me towards him.
"Emma," he says again and again- each more desperate than the first.
"I have nothing to say to you," I spit at him. "The minute you decided to cheat on me was the minute you and I were over. I will not be your LA play toy any longer Jonah Marais."
His face falls, and he says, "It's not fair! I was lonely for pete's sake Emma!"
"Than you answer one of your girlfriends damned calls Jonah! You don't hook up with other girls!"
"Em..."
"No," I say cutting him off. "I don't want to hear why you cheated on me. I don't even want to here why your 'sorry'. What I do want, is for us," I say motioning from me to him, "to never have to speak again."
I open the door then, slamming it right in Jonah's face.
That's when I can feel my heart breaking in my chest. My lungs feel like they are closing in on each other, and I struggle for a deep breath.
I lean up against the door, gripping at my breaking heart.
"Emma?" Daniel asks grabbing onto me. "Tell me what just happened. Did he hurt you?"
I shake my head, unable, and most certainly unwilling to explain what just happened.
Daniels worried eyes run over me, and he pulls me into a hug.
That's when it hits him.
"Did he cheat on you?" He sounds incredulously angry.
I break into sobs, and Daniel holds me closer to his chest, taking crying as a yes.
"I'm going to go in there, okay?" Daniel whispers in my ear.
"N... No," I stutter through my tears.
Reluctantly, Daniel lets me go, and he briskly walks into Jonah's room.
I can hear yelling almost immediately, and Daniel saying, "How could you do something like this! You freaking just lost the one amazing thing in your life!"
I can't hear what's said after, but Daniel walks
out after a few minutes.
He grabs my hand gentility, and guides me towards my room.
Daniel knocks on the door as I stand next to him sobbing my heart out.
Zach opens the door, and his face falls.
"Emma? Daniel what happened to her! Why is she sobbing! Daniel I swear to god!"
Daniel turns to me. "Em, i'll be right back okay. Stay here."
I nod my head, grabbing my chest- feeling the hole where my heart once was.
I can hear muffled voices inside, and Zach and Jacks angry voices threatening to beat up Jonah.
I slide onto the floor, curling into a ball.
How could I be so stupid?
Why for one second did I ever think Jonah could stay faithful to only me?
And then I remember exactly why.
I love him.
I love him so much that even though he just cheated on me, freaking cheated, I want to forgive him. I want to forgive him so badly. But I can't.
Not this time.
The door opens then, and Christina comes rushing out.
She neals next to me, grabbing my hand.
"Em, did Jonah cheat on you?" She asks very softly, making sure Daniel knows the full story.
I sit up, nodding my head half heartedly, still unable to fully admit it to myself. My mind searches for any reason why I could be wrong. That maybe I just imagined the whole thing. But I didn't. Jonah cheated on me with a beautiful blonde girl, and now i'm single again.
Jack and Zach come into the hallway, picking me up and carrying me to my bed.
I hug onto my pillow, letting the remaining tears fall.
The boys leave after a few minutes, leaving Christina and I alone.
Christina climbs onto my bed, and I lay my head on her shoulder.
I cry for hours, while she quietly strokes my hair, not leaving my side until morning.
