Chapter 12

Backstage with the USO girls.

"On stage, girls. Five minutes!" Brandt's aide shouts. One of the girls walks over to where their helmets are held.
"Where's my helmet?" The girl asks seeing it's not in it's place. Brandt's aide comes back.
"Has anyone seen the Rogers?" He questions.

With Steve and Amelia.

Amelia, Steve, Magdalen and Peggy are in a plane being piloted by Stark.
"The Hydra camp is in Krausberg, tucked between these two mountain ranges. It's a factory of some kind." Amelia explains to Steve and Magdalen.
"We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep." Stark shouts over the sound of the plane.
"Just get us as close as you can." Steve tells them.
"You know, you two are gonna be in a lot of trouble at the lab." Magdalen tells Amelia, Stark and Peggy.
"And you won't?" Peggy asks.
"Where I'm goin', if anybody yells at me I can just shoot 'em." Steve jokes
"They will undoubtedly shoot back." Amelia informs
"Well, let's hope it's good for somethin'." Magdalen says

"Amelia, if we're not in too much of a hurry I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a late night fondue." Stark jokes.
"I'm afraid we won't have time for that Howard. I'm going with them." Amelia explains looking awkwardly at Steve getting ready to parachute.
"You're What!?" Howard shouts.
"Howard is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen. He's mad enough to brave this airspace, we're lucky to have him." Amelia says ignoring Howard's shout.
"So are you two...? Do you...? Fondue?" Steve awkward and confusingly rambles as Magdalen rolls her eyes. Amelia just ignores him.

"This is your transponder. Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you." Peggy explains handing him a device.
"Are you sure this thing works?" Magdalen asks.
"It's been tested more then you guys, doll. And Amelia, be careful." Stark says, then Suddenly an enemy plane starts shooting at them. Steve, Amelia and Magdalen move towards the open door of the plane to jump.

"Get back here! we're taking you both all the way in." Peggy shouts moving closer to the door.
"As soon as We're free, you turn this thing around and get the hell outta here!" Steve orders her.
"You can't give her orders!" Amelia informs smiling him.
"The hell I can't! I'm a Captain!" Steve shouts looking at her, Amelia smiles at him then they jump out of the plane with Maggy.

In the HYDRA facility.

Schmidt and Dr. Zola are walking side by side through the a workspace.
"As you can see, production of the Valkyrie is progressing on schedule, even with components of this size." Dr. Zola explains.
"Increase the output by 60 % and see to it our other facilities do the same." Schmidt orders.
"But there prisoners, I'm not sure they have the strength" Dr. Zola tells him.
"Then use up what strength they have left, Doctor. There are always more workers." Schmidt says as he walks out of the room. Someone with a clipboard approach's Dr. Zola
"Not now!" Dr. Zola shouts at them angrily.

At the cells where prisoners are lead into.

One of the guards knocks the hat from Dumdum Dugan's head.
"You know, Fritz, one of these days, I'm gonna have a stick of my own." Dugan tells the guard through the bars.

Outside with Steve and Maggy.

Steve, Magdalen and Amelia are running through the dark woods until they find a road where trucks are driving by. They get into the back of one of the trucks and they themselves face to face with two Hydra guards.
"Fellas." Steve says getting ready to attack.
"Uh...hi?" Maggy asks. Then Steve and Magdalen attack them and knock them out.

After they sneak into the HYDRA factory they steel two blue shining firearms (Amelia already has a gun), Then they keep walking until they find some of the captured American soldiers.
"Who are guys supposed to be?" Gabe Jones (one of the Soldiers) asks.
"We're... Sergeant and Captain America." Magdalen says unsure.
"And this is Dr. Erskine." She says pointing to Amelia.
"I beg your pardon?" James Montgomery Falsworth (another soldier.) asks confused as Steve walks over and unlocks their cells. Prisoners start pooring out.
"What are we taking everybody." Dogan asks Jim Morita, a Japanese looking man. Morita takes out his dog tags.
"I'm from Fresno, Ace." Morita explains.

"Is there anybody else? We're looking for a Sergeant Jammes Barnes." Steve asks frantically.
"There's an isolation ward in the factory but no one's ever come back from it." Falsworth informs.
"All right. The tree line is norhtwest, 80 yards past the gate. Get out fast and give 'em hell. I'll meet you guys in the clearing with anybody else I find." Steve says as he and Maggy turn to leave.
"Wait! You know what you're doin'?" Jones asks.
"Yeah. We've knocked out Adolf Hitler over two hundred times." Magdalen answers before walking out.
