After Finn left with a few others, I was told it was the next morning. Apparently Octavia made it back to get help by nightfall, then they sent out a search party. It took them a few hours before finding us, and taking us back to camp. We made it back by early dawn, Wells had been the first treated since his injury was worse, which I didn't really mind I knew he needed medical attention more.

Following what happened: I woke up while they were treating me. Now, it was two hours after I woke up and one hour after Finn left with Jasper and Monty. Clarke refused to let me even leave the bed. She explained that my bone wasn't damaged but if I over used my leg, the cut could reopen and I'd need stitches. I had to admit my knee hurt badly but not too much to keep a kid like me contained.

After Clarke went back to tending Wells, I was left alone..or so I thought. I swung my legs off the edge of the bed. I was quick to my feet, though I winced when using my left leg as it was pretty injured. I decided to just place most of my weight on my other leg as I hurried to the hatch. Before I even reached the hatch, it swung open to reveal no other than Octavia.

"Woah, kid you should be laying down." The brunnette said which I rolled my eyes in response.

"You guys are all treating me like a kid. I can handle myself." I told her as I pushed passed her.

Before I could squeeze past her she blocked my path with her arm as she shook her head. "That's because you are a kid. Now lay down, you need to rest before you get worse."

"Octavia you know it from your own experience, being locked up doesn't help anyone." I argued locking my eyes with hers.

I realized I hit a sensitive spot as she was hesistant with her response but when she did speak it was a angry tone "look kid" she took a deep breath "this is different, you're in here to get better, I was in there to save my ass."

I felt sweat fill my palms. Something about her sensitivity of her past made her intimidating. I also felt bad about her past and immediately regretted it. But I wasn't going to show it.

I simply nodded in response. "Fine but you can't tell me you wouldn't have disliked this."

I turned the other direction before wobbling my way in to the bed. I crawled ontop of it, sitting up before I tyed my hair in a tight pony-tail, after I finished I glanced around boredly. Octavia seated herself on a chair, watching me in the same bored way.

"So Clarke just sent you here to babysit me?" I asked in annoyance.

"That and my brother doesn't want me leaving camp anymore cause of what happened." She said with a sigh.

"So I'm babysitting you then?" I asked with a smirk.

Octavia laughed a bit "whatever you have to tell yourself."

After a while Octavia fell asleep in her seat. She was such a great babysitter, falling asleep and all. This gave me the perfect chance to leave. I quickly slipped off the bed before sneaking past Octavia. I couldn't help but giggle at her before sneaking out the hatch. I was worried about Wells, about the girl and all the other sick people. I had to find out how they were doing.

After climbing down the ladder I heard someone, "shouldn't you be resting?" There voice echoed.

Damn it! I thought instantly. I turned around to see a darker skinned guy facing me "I'm just going out for a some water." I lied.

"Yeah right, heard that a ton of times. Whats really going on kid?" He said lifting a eyebrow.

"Look, whoever the hell you are, I'm not a kid!" I retorted in annoyance, "and I'm fine, my leg is fine. Im just going to check on the sick."

"First of all it's Miller, secondly your leg is still healing and you shouldn't be using it, but.." He sighed, "..the sick are on the first floor."

A smile was quickly planted on my face "thanks Miller, I owe you." I told him before dispearing down the ladder to the first floor.

As soon as I hit the first floor I heard Clarkes annoyed voice "why isn't Octavia watching you?"

"She fell asleep." I said with a shrug. "I wanted to see if I could help..you know, with the sick."

She must've assumed it wasn't a bad offer, seeing as she was the only person tending what seemed like around twenty people. I walked over and sat beside her as she sighed "fine, grab the rag over there." she told me as she pointed to a white rag dripping with water on the sink's edge.

I nodded, glad she wasn't as stubborn as Octavia. I got up, following her command as I grabbed the rag. It was soaked in water, more than likely for those with wounds from the crash, or Wells. I then realized, there was less than twenty people here, but only about seventy people outside last time I checked.

"How many dead?" I asked while bringing the rag to her as she applied it to Wells body below her.

"Eleven." She replied, not looking up at me as she cleaned Wells wound.

"What about the girl from before?"

"She's not looking too good." Clarke told me with a sigh. "None of them are, not without the chamomile. Too much smoke was in there lungs."

"Oh..hey Clarke?" I said joining beside her.

"Yeah?"

"Yesterday, you were quick to send Wells away, yet he seemed nice towards you.." I glanced up at her "what happened between you two?"

"He got my dad floated." She replied quietly.

"Oh..sorry about that" I said just as quietly.

I was startled to see Wells glance up at Clarke. It was a suprise he was awake, but then again he might have been awake the entire time. He probably heard our coversation..uh oh. I felt awkward sitting there as he began speaking to Clarke.

"I-I didn't get you dad floated.." small tears welled in his eyes as he said "your m-"

Clarke seemed pretty angry as she cut him off "my what? Making more excuses are we?"

"Clarke..maybe he's telling the truth.." I mumbled.

"You're mother did. I did it to protect her..so yo-"

"S-so I'd hate you instead of her?" Clarke asked in shock.

When Wells nodded in response, a small tear streamed down Clarke's face from the sadness of it all. I got up, taking some steps back to give them space. It was pretty shocking for me to here this, but I'd keep it to myself for Clarke's sake. This made me feel bad for her, but my thoughts were interuppted by the sound of someone coming down the ladder.

"Hey, where's Lizzi-" Octavia was cut off as she saw me.

I smirked as she saw me but didn't laugh with her only because of the previous tension, how could Clarke forgive her mom?
