It was a pretty normal day at Camp Half-Blood. The birds were singing and intense training was going on. Travis and I were battling once again. I memorized his fighting technique so that I beat him more than once.
The sweat was sticking to our foreheads as we lashed our swords. He tried to trip me but I jumped and knocked his sword out of his hands. I held my sword to his neck. "I win." I grinned.
"That's what you think."
He grabbed his sword and knocked me to the ground. I pulled him down with me. He landed on top of me. "Get off! You're heavy!" I said laughing.
He snuck a kiss from me. "I just stole a kiss."
"Worst pun in the world!" I laughed.
He chuckled and tackled me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. "If you get to steal one, so do I Mr. Stoll."
We got up and took a break. I saw Nyssa talking to Butch. She told me that she had this huge crush on him. He's just what she liked, tough, macho, "cute", and serious. I hope things go well for her.
I took out my bow and arrows and began to practice with that. I finished the arrows off, all bunched up in the dead center. I took out the daggers and used mine. I aimed them all at the target. I missed a few but that was alright.
Travis and Connor were talking about their newest prank. I shook my head and laughed. Connor smacked Travis at the back of the head. Travis did it right back. Soon, they were having a brother fight.
I went over to them. "Stop fighting you guys. Now is not the time."
They didn't stop. I used plan B. I went to the bathroom and took out my stash of freezing cold toilet water (clean- for a toilet). I walked over to them and poured some over their heads. I put the rest down. They looked up at me. "Now will you stop?"
"Yes mam." they said in unison.
I laughed at them. I stopped dead in my tracks. I saw a war. There was an army of giants. They were serving Gaea. Strange things happening. Monsters and the dead awakening. Battles and everything. So many deaths.
I covered my ears at the sound of screaming. I started screaming. I bent down onto my knees. I kept screaming and screaming. All the images raced through my mind. Travis ran up to me and held me close to him. Tears were rolling down. "Stop! Please! Make it stop!"
I felt as if all of it were happening to me. It was like a surround sound theatre. I heard a voice. Olivia, be strong. It is not happening to you. This is what will come. Do not tell anyone of this. Be safe young one. I must go.
I stopped screaming. The images went away. My breathing returned to normal. I saw everything clearly now. Travis held me in his lap. Everyone was gathered around me. They backed away. Chiron came up to me and gave me some nectar.
He whispered in my ear. "What did you see?"
I just shook my head. He nodded grimly as if he understood that I couldn't say. Travis carried me to my cabin. He didn't have to, but he did. "You need rest."
"No I don't. I'm fine. Can we get back to everything? Please."
"I'm not sure. You had a pretty big scene."
"I know, but I'm okay now."
"Alright."
He took my hand and we walked to the lake. We went swimming and went out on the boats. It was dinnertime. I changed and walked to the table. We sat and made random poetry. All the lines had to be random but rhyme. It was hilarious. This was the first part:
