I'm sorry that I haven't updated in a while. The worst thing happened, writer's block. That's the only thing that I have to blame. Love it or hate it, happy reading!
We had a warship that was being built. It's not being used for war. Let that sink in. We are trying to contact the other camp on peaceful terms. After hearing about it all, it made me wonder, I have more half siblings?
According to what I've been seeing, peaceful terms are not on the menu. If the Romans are all about war, would they defeat us? What in Apollo's name is going to happen?!
The kid, Leo, is leading the construction of the warship. I feel completely lost on what I'm supposed to do. I put my head in my hands. Travis was out doing who knows what with Connor, and Nyssa is building the warship.
I need to clear my head. I grabbed my bow and quiver of arrows and walked to the archery range. I nocked my arrow and started shooting. I was surprised when I missed. The arrows were lost just like I was.
"I can't do this."
I walked around trying to find Travis. I looked at the sword-fighting area. He wasn't there. Maybe he's in his cabin. I trudged to his cabin and saw him messing around with his brothers.
I knocked on the door. One of his brothers opened the door. "Travis! It's your girlfriend!"
Travis got up to greet me."Hey!"
"Hey."
He guided me inside. I sat down on his bed. They continued wrestling. I watched as they beat each other up. Finally, they call it quits with Connor as the winner. Travis sat next to me and kissed my cheek. His little brother groaned. "You guys are gross."
We smiled. "You'll have to deal with it." Travis teased.
He ran away. I looked at my lap."What's wrong Liv?"
"I'm so lost Travis. I don't know what to do anymore , and my visions are getting worse. I have a feeling like everything is going to happen quickly. Things are escalating and it's leaving me confused and-"
He put his finger to my lips. "You don't need to worry about anything. I understand how you're worried because of all the things that may happen, but I will be right here. I'm not leaving you, no matter what."
I smiled. "It's worse because I'm even missing my shots. My arrows are as confused as I am."
"Everything will get better."
"How can you be so sure Travis?"
"As long as we're together, I believe in anything."
I wrapped my arms around him. I went over the visions that I saw. "Travis, I'm scared."
I sobbed into his shoulder. He held me close to him. When I calmed down, he spoke. "Everyone is. Many things are happening, and nobody knows what the future holds. But everything is better when you have someone to share it with. I have you. I know everything will get better."
I smiled. Everything blacked out. Is this another vision? If so, it would be unusual. I saw nothing. I saw a woman in front of me. She smiled at me. "Hera?"
"Yes child."I backed off, or tried to. I couldn't move. "Don't try to struggle, it will get worse."
"Why? Why do this?"
"I want to explain some things. Such as, I built you so listen to me."
"You built me?"
"Yes. I'm all about family, so I created the new addition, you."
"Then why try to kill me?"
"It's more of a message. You were supposed to be perfect. Now, you are a disappointment. You are not supposed to see things. You are supposed to be a happy child. You can not fall in love with a Hermes boy. Lastly, you are going to be dead."
"Dead?" I choked out.
"Yes my dear. You will not live through your battle. Although, which battle is for you to find out."
"How do you know?"
"I know everything. I changed my plans for you when you turned out defective."
"Defective? I will decide my fate. You are not the boss of me. Travis-"
"Oh about that boy, do not try to tell him. If you do, you know exactly what he will do. He will sacrifice himself for you. His fate would be sealed if you tell him. He would die."
"I will live. I am not defective."
"You are my dear. You are much more powerful then I intended. You do not abide by the rules. We will see what your fate tells you."
"No!" I tried to reach out, but everything was gone.
I opened my eyes. Travis was standing over me."Olivia? What happened? Are you ok?"
I sat up."Yeah it's nothing."
He just nodded. "I don't know what's happening to you anymore Liv. I'm worried."
"I'm okay Travis. Don't worry about me."
He shook his head. "Please be careful Liv."
"I will. I'm going to the archery range."
"Okay."
I grabbed my stuff. At the archery range, the arrows went as fast as lightning towards the target. I supposed this shows my anger. Stupid Hera.
I nocked each arrow rapidly. Why me? I'm nothing important. I'm not meant to do anything special. I switched to my sword. I swung at the dummy. "Argh!"
I heard someone behind me. I swing around with my sword in my hands. "Calm down." Travis raised his hands in defeat.
"Sorry." I mumbled.
"What's wrong?"
"I can't tell you. It will effect everything if I do. I can only tell you that I was basically created because of Hera. I am defective."
"I don't believe that. You are perfect. I know that you were built to succeed. No matter what she says, you are meant to be what you are. You are unique. You are everything I could ask for."
Tears rolled down my cheeks. If only he knew the whole story. For now, my hope got a little brighter.
