Chapter 38 | Feel lonely

Jin POV
It was the next day and it kind of feel so nice to sleep in. Don't need to wake up early for school. This is the first time I can sleep in. I got up and see what time is it. It's 9:04am. I guess this is sleeping in for me.

I sigh in disappointment and start my daily routine. Once I was done, I walk out of my room and went to my kitchen. I start making breakfast. I sat down and start eating. While I was eating, my phone ring. I check and I got a text from Jimin.

Jimin: Good morning!! Sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you coming to work today?

I was confused why he ask that.

Jin: Good morning to you too! Yes I am. Why your asking?

Jimin: Oh okay. I was just wondering. I don't know. This is the first time I have someone working with me in a break. Anyways I'll let you be. See you later. I was just wondering if you are. Bye.

Jimin: FYI, I might come to work late. I'm sorry xc.

I turn my phone and continue eating. It weird not having someone here with me. I felt so lonely, not having her around made me sad.

I finish my breakfast, clean my dish and head to the living room. When I was walking to the living room, I stop in front of her room. I slowly open the door and I can feel the cold breeze hitting my face. I wanted to go in but I hesitated.

I just stand there, looking at it.

I knee down and look at my hand. I form them to a fist and felt tears forming. "I'm so sorry.... I know that you told me that not to worry and not blame it to myself. But it was my fault...... I'm so sorry. I miss you so much.... This hurts me so much...." I cry so hard that I can't stop crying.

|time goes by|

Once I got to work, I walk in and took out my coat. "Jinnie!" I look over and I say Jimin running toward me. He give me a big hug and I hug him back. "What happen to you. Why is your eyes all red and puff?" He question.

I don't know if I want to tell him. I don't want to know why. "Oh, I was watching a sad movie before I got here..... I though you were going to come late?" I question back. He told me that he was but it wasn't really that important. I nodded and we both decided to do work.

Jimin told me to put some new books in the shelves while he get us some lunch. I nodded and he left. While I was putting some book in the shelves, I heard the front door ring. That means a customer is here. "Hello, Welcome to the bookstore. My name is Kim Soekjin but you can call me Jin for short. If you need any help, I'm happy to guide you." I stop what I was doing and smile at the customer. When I smile, it was Namjoon.

I break my smile and slowly went back to work. 'Why is he here?' I panic. He smile and walking around the store, looking for a book. When he was looking around. I grab some books and went to the back of the room. I put them in A-Z. When I was doing that, I felt someone behind me. I turn and it was him. I jump and drop the books. "Oh sorry, didn't mean to scared you."

I bend down and start picking up the books. "It's fine... Can I help you sir?" I question. He smile and told me if there a book he can recommend. "Yeah, you can read green eggs and ham by Dr. Seuss." He smile at me and laugh. He told me that he is dead serious on the recommendation.

I put at books in the selves and told him to follow me. We start walking to the front desk and I took out a book that I was reading like three days ago. "This book is called wonder. I think it a really good book. It about a little boy that  have facial difference. Well ima stop there, I don't want to spoil it. If you want to read more about it, read the description in the back of the book. Anyways, I recommend you reading it." I smile. He nodded and that he wants to buy it.

The only problem for me is that, that's the last copy. I sigh and scan it for him. "That will be $10.38." He give me a 20. I put the 20 in and I give his change back. I hand the book over and he thank me. There was a awkward silent. Why is he not leaving the store, he already got the book he wanted to read. "Oh sorry, I should get going now. I'll talk to you later on the phone if that's fine." I froze. What does he mean by that. I can see his face turning red. I nodded and he smile. He again thank me and walk out of the door. "Thank you sir, I hope you have a nice day." He finally walk out and it just me in the store, alone.

I sigh so loud and took my phone. I went to the galley and see some picture of me and my eomeoni. How much I miss her so much.
