''You were amazing, Rome! Thank you so much for having me.'' I quickly ran off stage right to the showers noticing the bad smell of sweat. ''Great show, Y/n.'' I smiled at my tour manager, quickly passing her not wanting to talk to her. She's ruining my mood after every show, but this being the last one before heading back to London, I wasn't going to let her ruin it. ''Ready to go back home?'' I smiled at the view of Froy sitting on a couch. ''More than ready.''
I've been on the road for the past 2 months. I quickly grabbed my old phone and quickly checked if I missed something. I used my phone from when I lived in England, for this tour. It was much cheaper than adding a new plan to my subscription from the US. ''When's your flight?'' I screamed outside the bathroom whilst jumping under the shower. ''At 11. You coming with?'' I chuckled and quickly washed my body and hair. ''Maybe next week. I got to meet up with Mattheo.'' Froy kept quiet, letting me rinse off the shampoo and get out of the shower again. ''Did any of the boys' text?'' I asked whilst wrapping myself in a towel. ''No, you should check the other phone though.'' I put on a pair of sweatpants and a jumper before getting out of the room. ''It's back in London. But I will as soon as I'm back.'' Froy smiled and I sat down next to him.
''Thank you for joining by the way.'' I rested my head on his shoulder, thankful for a friend. ''You know it.'' He gave me a soft side hug before Jessica walked inside. ''Are you flighing back to London or LA?'' I looked at her to see my tour manager on her phone, probably already booking her flight back to New York. I was glad to finally see her go. Thankful for her help but still happy that I won't have to see her again. ''London. Left my phone there.'' She nodded and left the room again leaving me and Froy alone. ''I'll miss this.'' I looked at him confused.
''Jess, giving zero fucks about me?'' He laughed and shook his head. ''Spending so much time with you.'' I felt my heart drop. ''We can still spend time together back in LA.'' He shook his head again. ''I mean alone. I enjoy being here with you.'' I felt my mouth getting dry. ''What are you saying?'' I came a little closer, making me feel, for the first time around him, uncomfortable. ''I really like you, Y/n.'' I laughed awkwardly and pushed him away with my hand on his chest.
''You know how I'm feeling Froy.'' He rolled his eyes and leaned back. ''Fucking hell, Y/n. You really can't see past anything. Daniel is probably still in a coma. If not, he isn't remember anything about you.'' He was right and that hurt. More so, I was somewhere in Europe, with Daniel back in LA.
''You're right.'' Froy gave me a smile and leaned forward again. ''Not like that. I need to go back to LA.'' A groan left his mouth and he got up. ''Alright. I tried enough times. You're not over Daniel and I won't stay and watch you get your heart broken again. Call me when you figured your shit out.'' I looked at him in shock. ''Are you bloody kidding me? You always knew it was Daniel. Never anyone else.'' Froy shrugged and grabbed his stuff before leaving me with all my thoughts.
I arrived in Atlanta after my first flight, sitting down in front of my second gate of the day. 'Flight 759 going to LA is now boarding at gate 45b.' I looked up from my phone to see a bunch of people rushing to get to their flight. I never understood why'd they do something like that. We all have our seats and need to get on the same flight. No matter if you're the first or last one on board. After 10 minutes I finally got up and turned Niall Horan a little lower, handing my Passport and Ticket to the flight attendent, who ushered me trough.
I pulled the hood of my hoodie over my head, not wanting anyone to look at me, no matter if they knew who I was or didn't. I wasn't ready for any social contact. After finding my seat I quickly texted my mom to send me my phone as soon as she's got the time. ''Hey, excuse me, miss?'' I looked up, my eyes barely able to stay open. ''Sorry, could we switch seats? my husband couldn't book a row with all of us in it.'' I rolled my eyes, looked at the seat she was pointing at and saw a young girl, around 12. ''Isn't she old enough to fly with just her mother or father next to her?'' I never was one to say no to seat swapping, but this time, all I wanted to do was get back home. ''Well, yes, but we wanted to fly as a family.'' I shook my head, putting on my headphones again. ''Sorry, I booked the window seat and would like to keep it.'' I could hear mudders but tuned them out pretty quickly, fastening my seatbelt and falling asleep not much later.
Lucky for me, I was able to sleep for the whole flight, only waking up because of the wheels hitting the ground whilst landing. I looked to my right to see the man with his daughter. He smiled at me. I guess not switching seats wasn't so bad. ''I know you.'' The small girl pointed at me and I moved my headphone from one ear. ''Do you?'' She smiled and nodded. ''My big sister is a pretty big fan.'' I smiled back at her and turned down my music. ''Do you mind?'' The father pointed at his phone and I shook my head. ''Of course, not.'' I quickly took a picture with the girl and before I knew it, we were walking out of the plane. The girl next to me. ''Are you going back home?'' I nodded whilst pulling the hood further in front of my face. ''Is Daniel alright?'' She kept asking. I looked at her and realized the reason why I actually came back. Daniel. I haven't heard from anyone, mostly my fault. ''I hope so.'' She smiled again. ''I bet he'll be happy to see you.'' I nodded and saw that we finally reached the luggage claim.
''Alright love, I need to go. It was nice meeting you!'' She said goodbye and I turned my music back up, seeing my bag coming. Quickly ordering an Uber to the studio, I grabbed my luggage and walked towards the exit, seeing the car already. ''You Y/n?'' I nodded and watched him get out of the car, helping me with my bags. I whispered a small 'thanks' and got into the backseat.
We were driving for about 20 minutes until the car stopped, me getting out and seeing the big building I used to spend many days and nights in. ''Have a good day.'' I looked to the side to see my bags and the car driving off. ''You too, I guess.'' I pulled the luggage after me and entered the entrance. ''Y/n, hey. The boys are upstairs.'' I nodded and walked up to the elevator, reminding me of the day Daniel and I met in it. Oh how much I missed the easy days.
