Three long, dreadful, very merciless, and very painful weeks passed by. The snow started to fall, and Kyran, Sebastian, Ruma and Acelia all came to me the very first day of its fall. They wanted to make sure I was of no danger and would protect the four Regions. Laughing I told the great four I was definitely dangerous, I would not protect the four Regions and I definitely would not answer to any of them. Of course Rocco made me just swear I wouldn't harm any of them as long as they weren't a threat. Without any other options I just swore to the four royals.
Getting more comfortable with this new era I learned quite a lot of things. Deus comes down more often which isn't benefitting anyone. Demonia has left his post which is dangerous. Rocco is hard to teach. Alyss will become one hell of a mom. Then the most important. Tribus' Guardians are necromancers. I found one piece of it but not the whole thing. It was so much easier back then, we could easily sniff our a culprit and judge them that second. Now they have a whole court system and let them choose, apparently I have to respect them, clearly I won't do what is asked of me.
The four Regions celebrate every year on the same day, Nix. How original. Represents a day of home, family and hope for a better upcoming year. They changed it up a bit. Now the Impiorum Region is being used as its location. Many non-descendants live there. Like the Dracos, Bo and Nox with her kid Zatrein and mate Lucius live in Impiorum along with some other people. The Region is used for meetings, festivals, and other 'fun' events. Princess Acelia has devoted her land to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
I have also understood why Sam was so cold to me and why Tony was so silent. Sam is an Umbra at not only name but undiscovered abilities, without noticing he was using his abilities on me, or at least trying. When he couldn't grab my shadow he instantly thought me as a threat to his home and family. Tony doesn't know how to react to beings beyond Ancients. Both men have been understood and I actually can make conversations with them individually and together.
"Again," I told Rocco who was sweaty and worn out. "We take energy from organic beings and objects. Again." I repeated and Rocco turned to his mate before proceeding. "You will use your size and power against me but you must pay attention to your blind spot." Rocco flash-stepped in front of me and tried to slam his arms to my shoulders but I caught his forearms and used them as levers to through him over me. "Don't go head on unless you know your opponents next six moves."
"Well if you'd be just a little predictable I think I would do better." Rocco groaned as he stood up. I pointed to a tree and he shook his head. "I don't kill anymore."
"You're going to have to," I appeared in front of him and tapped his chest sending him flying to the nearest three trees. "Learn control and patience. Even in a death battle you must know how to work under pressure and power." I snapped my fingers and twenty very miniature dragons appeared behind me.
"Are you trying to kill me!?" He shouted over to me, recovering from the trees. "How the hell and I supposed to fight giant ass dragons if I'm not allowed to shift!?"
"Patience and control," I appeared beside Alyss who was on a blanket eating her weird cravings. Rocco was quickly surrounded underground, all around him and from above.
"Think he'll make it without any broken bones this time?" Alyss turned to me from her green sandwhich which I was hoping wasn't going to be offered to me.
"Doubt it," I answered as I saw Rocco being smashed between dragons. "Poor kid." I sighed before taking an apple slice being dipped in caramel.
By the end of ten minutes I made the dragons go away and walked over to Rocco brushed and bloodied. I hovered over him and tapped his shoulder just to make sure he was breathing. Rocco opened an eye to see me upside down to his vision. I had his head between my feet. I grabbed his hand and dragged him to a tree.
