Setting up for the Great Nix Alyss and Rocco decided to help after I told them I had agreed to help. Apparently they weren't allowed to help because of Bo worried that people might get scared and not come to the festivals or parties. I'm the highest ranking person alive, or so Alyss tells me, so she asked me to overrule Bo's command. Which I did, that was a dumb decision by the Elders.
Rocco was a quick leaner, did very well in power base techniques and organic energy. He was slowly summoning Draco Virtutem which would benefit him in protecting and fighting. If I don't want to worry about his safety, he needs to master it before the next full moon. To my calculations, with some calculations of Deus and Demonia, that's when the being will make his first attempt of attacking the four Regions.
Passing a ruin of Impiorum land, the scent was strong and I touched the building's side. Impiorum's King, Acelia's father, died here. Touching the ruin it glowed making me anxious. What the hell? In the ruin something clicked an outline of a brick-sized material came out and within it was a case. Opening the case there were the scrolls. I made a bubble around the scrolls and teleported it out of anyone's reach. I then but a rock in the case and slipped it back into its original place. I didn't need to read the scrolls to know what they are.
Hearing voices I flash-stepped to a tree and covered my scents and existence from where Acelia, Alyss, Bo and Rocco stood in front of the ruin. Alyss' babies knew I was here, but no one else did.
"They were scrolls, with Latin language, I didn't understand anything but dragon, crown, and a name." Acelia took out the case and found rocks. "I swear they were right here! Someone must've taken them!" Acelia took out the rocks and looked defeated.
"Who's name did it have?" Bo grabbed her daughter's shoulder reassuringly.
"It sai-" she began.
"Hey guys," I popped out of the trees carrying lumber on a sleigh. "What are you guys doing?" I narrowed my eyes at them accusingly which had them all looking amongst one another for an answer to cover what they were doing. "Oo, something I'm not supposed to know? Whatever, probably for the best." I looked at Rocco and told him to follow me with my eyes. Alyss would of course follow in pursuit leaving Bo without any other choice but to with hold the secret meeting they were having. "Rocco, I was thinking that no matter what, you must not hate your father." I finally spoke to him when we reached the more stabilized areas of Impiorum.
"What?" Rocco caught my elbow making me turn around to face him. "He killed you, was a crazy bastard and abandoned his entire species, you're telling me not to hate him?"
"Do I really need to repeat myself when you already did?" I raised an eyebrow at him. "You are still young-"
"I'm already past my two centuries, I think I'm old enough." Rocco let go so that he could cross his very muscular arms over his chest. Way to be a big boy.
"When you stop 'thinking' and start 'doing' is when I'll consider you an equal. Until then, you're still a babe in my eyes." I patted his chest making him snarl at me. "Extra brownie points for attempt." Grabbing the rope of the sleigh I pulled it to the fire pit where Burkettos stood.
"We don't need anymore wood," Zacarias told me.
"I know," I turned around and left.
Going to the decorations I hung them up separating Acelia from her mother and Rocco at any possible attempt of her trying to get closer to them. If she says the name, that'll mean another needless problem. Those three scrolls, under any means must never be read much less sealed. If the Impiorum knew of the scrolls, it is without a doubt why they were attacked. Why would anyone without the dragon descent want the scrolls? Definitely wasn't the Dracos who attacked Impiorum, the Impiorum were the most powerful among the four Regions. Their ghouls were awful bunches. A great reason to hand off the scrolls to them though. The ghouls are readers, they can translate any text at any given language. Very smart bunch.
