Emerging from the doors I ran out to see my nightmares come true. A hooded man appeared holding Léon down with his foot pressed against his unconscious head. I panicked as I saw Alyss battered and Rocco beaten. The Dracos were all knocked out with gashes, Necator was nowhere to be found. Dennis and Damien weren't in sight. Ten bodies scattered across the snow piled field and it scared me. Bo and Nox were horribly beaten. The twins weren't in sight either.
This is my fault.
"I must thank you Shay, I didn't think you'd be so clueless." The man spoke and I recognized his voice from the man who threatened the twins. "I'm quite disappointed in you, I thought you and I were in the same league. Well at least we were, now you're just a human. We can still produce powerful children, come here or I'll crush his skull." He stepped harder on Leon's head and I gasped. "Come here Shay." He snarled at me.
"Leave him alone!" I wasn't afraid, I was so angry, I couldn't feel my body anymore. My body was numb, and it felt as though the chains on the monster that was caged were breaking. "Or I'll kill you." I felt my canines stretch out, what the hell? They felt natural so I didn't bother with it.
"Come with me Shay, or I'll kill your precious mate this time." He picked up Léon by the throat and he woke up trying to break free. "Léon, you are not worthy of her presence, I don't understand why you two were paired." He started to squeeze around Léon's neck and I panicked.
"Stop!" I cried out feeling a loss in my chest, it started to hurt. "Léon! Stop!!" I screamed so loud people who were unconscious were waking up.
My eyesight changed into something I couldn't control, I started to see red all over. Léon opened his eyes to look over at me.
"Last time Shay," his voice aggravated me.
"Occi-," I began understanding perfectly my language. My mother tongue started to make itself into my mind, ready for me to use. Looking at his perfect green eyes, I couldn't let him die again. "-dere!" I spread my arms a part and then slammed my palms back together.
The wind blew only the black hooded man away. He was thrown against the ground until I walked over to him and stomped my foot on his chest. My eyes were bleeding red and my hair was an ash gray and it was longer than what I liked. He grabbed my ankle and threw against one of the dragon statues.
"There she is!" The man laughed wickedly making me angrier. "There's the Draconis Lunae, though it seems like you locked away the memories. Why's that?" He took Léon again and started to drag him. "Should I kill him to make you remember?" This man was crazy.
"Léon!" I shouted feeling my anger boil. Grabbing the cage holding me inside, I stretched the bars making a perfect exit for me. I let it all out. "Protegat!" I shouted from the top of my lungs touching the claw of the dragon behind me.
Behind me there were four roars as the concrete fell from the dragons and surrounded us. I felt like my back gained fifty pounds, looking behind me there were two very large and long transparent wings and a thick but very long spiked tail. The end of my tail looked like a trident, the middle spike was the longest of the three. The outline of my wings and tail was the same shade as the four dragons.
"Manete," I told the dragons and they roared at me for them to release them. "Illum dimittam!" I told the hooded man who stared at me shocked. "Nunc." It felt like me but not me all the way.
"Post divinum officium prima Draconis Lunae! Draconem originalis!" The hooded man bowed to one knee.
"Shay!" Necator appeared staring at me dumbfounded. "Kill him!" Necator shouted while I still had an open opportunity but I needed to know.
