Just Protect

"I really do not approve of this," Bo crossed her arms glaring at the eight men around us. Alyss, Nena and Nicolai were sitting watching from a far to make sure that they wouldn't get hit. "I really don't like this."

"Oh come on, it'll be fun." I winked over to Bo who turned her glare to me. "You'll referee to stop them. I honestly like my idea more than Léon's or Rocco's and even much more than my brother's." I smiled at Necator who rolled his eyes. The Draco brothers made a large circle marking the boundaries of how far we could go.

"If you break something again, I'll make sure to break you." Bo threatened Léon who gave me a guilty smile which I didn't really care about anymore. "Okay, ready?" Bo turned to me and I nodded overly excited. "Only you Shay." My wings and tail spread out, I was told that they aren't my real ones just the figure of them. Draco Virtutem, is what I called them. "Ready?" Bo asked Léon who shrugged before Bo blew the whistle.

Léon came right for me, and I ran to him jumping up grabbing his shirt by the shoulders, landing on my feet momentarily being back-to-back before I used all the force I could build to throw him in front of me. Léon crashing into the ground with his back being his only cushion. I did a happy dance as Léon groaned onto his stomach using the grass to heal himself.

I'm apparently no longer human and the longer I'm like this the more memories seem to seep into my mind. Léon caught my ankle as I was distracted and threw me into the air. I caught myself with my wings but suddenly I felt Léon behind me. Turning around he kissed me, smiling at him, he only smirked.

"Never let yourself be distracted," he pecked me one more time before I realized what he was doing. My wings and tail were gone the only thing keeping me up was Léon holding me. "See you down on the ground babe."

"You wouldn't!" I shouted glaring at him.

"I would," he laughed as he let me go.

"You are such an ass!" I shouted as I spread my wings and suddenly I had no control over my flying.

"Shay! Your tail! Get your tail out!" Necator spread out blue outlined, but transparent, wings and tail.

Léon and Necator were both coming to my rescue and I couldn't just let this opportunity go to waste. Just before either of them could touch me, I spread out my tail and flew out of the reach watching as the two clashed full force. The laughter that erupted from me caused everyone from below to laugh with me.

Two of the strongest men crashed into the ground causing a giant dent. Landing I was still laughing my ass off as I stared at my mate and brother glaring at me. If only looks could kill.

"Oops, sorry I forgot the tail." I grabbed my transparent tail and waved it around. Looking from the corner of my eye Bo and Alyss are on the floor laughing like lunatics.

"Did you see how they looked!?" Bo laughed over to Alyss who was crying from how hard she was laughing.

"Auntie you are good!" Alyss clapped her hands and rolled onto her belly to lower her laughter. "Geez that made my morning."

"Do it again!" Bo told the boys who glared over at her. "Ah, I go for Shay's win!"

"If it weren't for the men in my life, this dream would not have been true, so thank you." I told the men who were now standing and looking about ready to kill me. "Who's next!? Rocco, my wonderful nephew!" Rocco then gave me an evil grin and Léon picked me up flying over to the lake where everyone followed and melted the ice before throwing me in.

Being engulfed by the ice cold water, I opened my eyes, staring around me. Screams sounded through the water, someone grabbed my foot pulling me deeper in the water, I could breathe perfectly fine. Checking for gills, there weren't any which made me feel relieved. It was getting darker before I saw glowing red eyes stare at me. The pupils and eye outline were dark black but the red was beautiful.
