I can't believe she'd done that. I knew she there was something wrong the last time I saw her, but to leave and take the baby, that was terrible.

"So, where did she go?" I asked the three of them.

Jimmy looked at me, he looked a little shocked.

"To her mom's. " Brian told me.

"Well I'm going to talk to her." I stood up, she needed to explain herself.

I grabbed my bag. "I'll be back."

"Wait, I'll come." Sophie followed me out the door.

We got in my car.

"What is she thinking?" Sophie asked, looking at me.

I glanced at her, she looked a little pale. "I have no idea Sophie. Are you okay?"

"I'm okay."

I realised this was probably the first time she'd been out of the house since the attack, I knew she was having problems and my guess was that was what her and Brian had been arguing about.

Lilah's mother didn't live too far so it didn't take us long, we got out and knocked on the door.

"Hello girls." Her mom said, letting us in. "I'm glad you came over, she won't talk to me."

"This is a mess. Where is she?" I asked, glancing around.

"She's in her bedroom Ana, she's just laying there, I've been looking after Jr."

I headed upstairs with Sophie and knocked softly on her bedroom door.

"What?" She snapped.

Oh boy. I opened the door.

"I don't want to hear it Ana, I'm done and that's all there is to it. " She was so angry, not the Lilah I knew. "And what is she doing here?"

"I'll wait downstairs. " Sophie said softly.

"What is going on?" I asked, I was standing there, she made no offer for me to sit.

"I'm sick of it, sick of it all. Sick of being second to the band, sick of him coming home late, sick of him coming home drunk."

I let her rant, she needed to get it off her chest.

"If anyone of those guys call, he drops everything and runs off, and you, stupid you are going to marry one of them. Your a fool Ana, get out while you can."

"That's a bit harsh Lilah."

"I won't have anything to do with your wedding Ana, I'm sorry, but I can't stand there and watch you throw your life away for another selfish prick, I won't do it."

That hurt, I felt tears in my eyes. "Lilah...."

She cut me off. "Actually Ana, I'd rather not see you at all, so get out."

I opened my mouth but I had no reply, I turned and walked out.

"Let's go." I said to Sophie as I walked out the door.

"Ana, what did she say?" Her mom asked.

"She's made up her mind, she's not willing to listen."

That was all I could say.

"Are you okay?" Sophie asked me this time.

"I've lost a friend, she basically told me to get lost, but yeah I'll be okay."

I would be. I just didn't know about Jimmy.
