"So, where are we going Matthew?" I asked as the car pulled away.

"You'll see."He murmured, putting his arm around me.

We sat quietly for the drive and as we got closer I knew exactly where we were going.

The car pulled up and Matt got out.

"I thought it was only right." He smiled, helping me out of the car and hugging me.

It was right, and god he was so sweet for doing this.

He went to the back of the car and pulled out a big bouquet of flowers. "Let's go say hi baby."

He put his arms around me and we made our way across the lawn to mom. I started crying, I couldn't help it, I really missed her, but today I especially missed her.

We got to her grave and Matt put the flowers down, I just stood there crying. Matt wrapped me in his arms and let me cry.

"Well we did it, we got married." He told her. "I just know you were at the church."

He was right of course, she would have been there, I didn't doubt it.

I don't know how long we stood there, not saying anything, just holding each other, thinking.

"I think I'm ready now." I whispered.

"You sure, we can stay as long as you want." How did I end up with such a perfect man?

"Yes, I'm sure." I kissed him, but only briefly, otherwise I wouldn't stop and we would never leave.

We walked back to the car, Matt with his arm around my shoulder, me crying quietly.

"Thank you so much." I told him as the car started moving again.

"Ana, you know I would do anything for you."

I knew, he'd proved it time and time again.

The trip was quiet, I just sat there with my head on his chest, we didn't have to say anything to each other, words weren't necessary.

We arrived and went inside, I tried to compose myself before the girls saw me, but Sophie picked up on it straight away.

"Are you alright?" She asked me quietly.

Yes, I was alright. I looked at Matt, I really was.
