It was a few weeks later and you were already back in London, while Harry finished his tour in Australia and Japan. Your due date was quickly approaching and you could feel it. You were mildly stressing about getting everything ready especially since Harry wasn't there. Fortunately, your parents had flown in a few days ago and Anne had been down to help out as well.
Baby Mac had been kicking constantly, which meant you hadn't really slept well over the last few weeks. Your Dad had finished putting the crib together in your and Harry's room and you smiled.
"It looks great Daddy," you smiled handing him some water.
"I think our little guy is gonna love it," he smiled taking a sip. "Speaking of, how's he doing today?"
"Using my belly has a kicking bag," you giggled rubbing your belly. "He's also dropped quite a bit, so I know he'll be coming soon, which I'm excited and nervous about. Harry only has a few more shows left and then he'll be on his way home to us, but I'm worried Mac might come before he can get here."
"Yeah, we're all hoping he'll be back in time," your father nodded. "Little Mac, you better stay put till your Daddy gets home," he laughed.
"I keep telling him that too," you giggled. "Harry would be so heartbroken if it missed it and I'd be lost. I need him by my side you know? Plus, this is such a huge thing for both of us," you whispered.
"Which is why it'll all work out," he smiled. "So, try not to worry about it unless it happens. You already have enough stress with getting everything ready, but you just need to worry about bringing the little one into the world."

"Oh my god, that's so fucking weird and cool at the same time," Harry said over Facetime as he watched baby Mac moving around in your belly.
You laughed. "Just imagine how it feels."
"God, I miss you," he sighed.
"I miss you too," you said.
"You haven't had any issues right?" He asked.
"Issues?" You asked.
"With a certain somebody?" He asked.
"Oh, that, no, I haven't. I haven't seen him around or anything," you said. "You?"
"Nope, but I highly doubt he'd fly across the world just to confront me again," he said.
"True," you nodded. "So, when is your flight home?"
"Well, we're having a party after the last show in Tokyo and I'm flying out that next morning," he said.
"And once you've landed then Mac can come at any time," you giggled.
"I'm so fucking anxious with that, baby," he sighed. "Ever since I've left to come out this way, I've been afraid that every time I see your name or my Mum's pop up on my phone that it's gonna be time."
"Well, so far so good," you giggled rubbing your belly.
"I hope I get to see that in person at last one more time before he arrives," he said.
"You and my belly," you giggled.
"What? It's adorable and the fact that it's housing our little baby, it's so fucking hot," he smirked.
You rolled your eyes. "You should probably get to bed soon, it's late over there isn't?"
"A bit, yeah," he laughed. "But I can't sleep without you next to me."
You laughed and took the iPad to the bed and laid down. "Does this help?"
"It does," he smiled doing the same thing.
"I love you," you whispered.
"I love you too," he smiled. "And Baby Mac."

A few days later, you woke up in the middle of the night because you couldn't sleep. Your back was hurting, you had massive heartburn, and you just couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep in. You got up from the bed and headed down to the kitchen to grab some water and try drinking a bit of peppermint tea to see if that would help your heartburn.
When you saw the time, you knew that Harry would be heading home, due to the time difference, which meant you'd be seeing him sooner rather than later. You couldn't be more excited and plus it eased your mind knowing that he'd be here for Mac's arrival. The kettle started to whistle, so you took it off the stove and poured the water into a mug.
You took the mug and carried it over into the living room, where you turned on the TV. You searched the guide for something, but hardly anything was on at two o'clock in the morning. After being up for an hour, you finally decided to head back upstairs and try to lay down again now that your heartburn had subsided a little.
As you made your way up the stairs, you felt a jolt of pain shoot through your lower half and it made you fall to your knees as your gripped onto the stairwell railing. You breathed through it as the pain eventually left your body. You had been having small contractions throughout the last few weeks, but none of them came close to what you just experienced.
Another jolt of pain hit you as soon as you walked into your room. You called for your Mom and Anne, who were staying in the guest rooms down the hall.
"What's wrong?" Anne asked quickly wrapping her robe around her.
"I don't know... I just... I've been uncomfortable all night, but now I'm having severe contractions," you groaned sitting on the bed.
"How far apart and how long are they?" Your Mom asked.
"I don't know, not very long and at least a few minutes in between," you sighed.
"Okay, so you're not too far along yet," she nodded. "But we need to time then to be sure, where's your phone?"
"On the bedside table," you said rubbing your belly.
She took it off the table and went to the timer and waited for you to have another contraction. When you did she timed it until it was over and then jotted the time it ended for when you started next time.
"This can't happen yet," you cried. "Harry's not here. He won't be here until like forever from now."
"Shh, don't worry about that," Anne said. "These things can take time and you worrying over that might bring it on faster. It'll be okay."
"I can't do this without him." you sniffled.
"You're still in the early stages, sweetheart, don't worry about it," your Mom said rubbing your back.
You sighed and felt another contraction a few minutes later and you gripped onto the bed.
For the next few hours, you went through the same thing, until your contractions came sooner and longer. Finally, your Mom and Anne decided it was time for you to head to the hospital. You burst into tears as you realized the reality of Harry not being there could be happening.
Anne tried calling him but knew he was in the middle of his flight. She looked over at your mother worriedly as she was also afraid that her son would miss the birth of his first child and she couldn't help, but tear up at the thought of that as well.
