Chapter 12: Shocking results

We set up camp in Route 13. I sent out my pokemon and thanked them.

"You both are my pokemon. I am glad you are by my side." I told them.

"You should be proud" said Emily. She patted me on the back.

"Yeah. After today's experience Imma go train tonight." said Captino.

"Alright. Make sure you don't over do it." I told him.

"Ditto." he said walking away.

"Now get some sleep." said Emily.

"Yeah I need my strength."

"Good night Alpha."

"Night." I closed my eyes and passed out. When I woke up, Captino and Emily were in my face with concern.

"Dude. Wake up." said Captino. I jumped up.

"Space please." They backed away. "Why were you in my face?"

"You didn't wake up." said Emily.

"What! Really?"

"Yeah dude." said Captino.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Um about 3:00 in the afternoon." said Emily.

"Oh no. We need to be in Lumiose right now!" I packed up our stuff and darted toward Lumoise City. Before I even got a running start, I hit a boy that happened to walk our way.

"Whats the big idea?" he said.

"My bad."

"You heading to Lumoise gym?" he said.

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"Power went out again and he sent me a challenger to go get it running."

"Great. Good luck." said Captino.

"Some storm yesterday." he said. We all paused.

"Who-"

"Im Roy. If you must know i am the one who shot down Salamence." he walked off.

"Oh no you don't. Your mine." said Captino.

"No Captino." said Emily.

"We might as well go with him. So we can thank him then battle him." I said.

"You can't fight Alpha. You have no more than two pokemon." said Captino. A Flygon flew over head. I used the last Ultra Ball that Captino bought me and tossed it up without looking. Then it captured the startled flygon in three shakes. Then it fell back in my hand.

"How bout now." I said.

"Son of a bitch. You got lucky." Captino trudged off in Roy's direction.

"Good catch. Maybe you can catch more than pokemon." said Emily.

"Maybe." I said. Roy took us to the power plant. He opened the door and lef us to the generator room.

"We need a jumpstart." I said.

"I can fix that. Go Galvantula."

"Galvantula!!!"

"Use Electro Ball!" he commanded. It hit the generator but only caused a spark.

"I got this." said Emily. "Go Electivire!"

"Electivire!!!"

"Use Thunder!" Electivire hit the generator.

"Electro Ball!" the two electric moves made the power return.

"Nice." said a voice behind us.

"Jessica!" said Captino.

"Thanks. Now we can generate the cannon. With it. We can magnetise all mega stones in the region." she said.

"Thats not happening."

"Dude. You beat Jake. But I'm on a different level darling."

"Oh yeah. Lets do it then." I challenged.

"If we do then you will stay dead my love."
