"Yes, Cas! Why do you think I'm so clingy when it comes to you!? Why do you think I'm always here!? It isn't to get away from my dad! It's because all I want is to be around you!"
"Really?"
"Yes, Cas! You're my best friend. I need my friend."
I give a bitch face. "Friend?"
"Yes, Cas." He says, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You're my friend."
"Damn, rejected again."
"Please, don't start this."
"Lay with me." I say, laying on the bed. I pat the spot next to me as I was on the wall side. He nervously walks over and lays down in bed, cautious when I rest my arm on his waist.
"Cas..."
"It's fine, Dean." I whisper, resting my head in the crook of his neck. "I'll always be here."
He closes his eyes tightly, his right hand intertwining fingers with my left hand that was draped on him.
I squeeze his fingers reassuringly, my other hand rubbing his head softly to calm him down. "Go to sleep." I kiss the back of his head, letting my lips rest there for a few seconds, my eyes closed, before pulling away. The smell of his hair intoxicated me, it smelled of the ocean.
"Cas, please don't get tired of me."
"Have you met yourself?" I laugh slightly.
He chuckles. "Yes, unfortunately."
"It's im possible to get tired of you. You're just so.....interesting. I can't help but want to keep learning more about you."
"And what happens when you learn everything there is to know about me?"
"I'll stay, I'll still be here. You grow everyday, I learn more everyday."
"I don't deserve you."
"You really don't..." I whisper.
He sighs sadly.
"Because you deserve more than me, more than anything I could ever give you."
"I don't believe that."
"But I do." I say. "And that should be enough for you."
