>Stacey's POV<

I spent the last one hour of my life trying to figure out if I had finally gone insane or all these things were actually happening.

When did Lexi magically turn into some wolf tamer?

Okay, so I know she is obsessed with dogs and dogs seemed to be obsessed with her too, for some strange reason.
There was this one time when we had gone to a dog show and the dogs there wouldn't stop howling until she petted them.

Strange. She probably smells like dog biscuits to them or something....

Over the years, I got over my fear of dogs. Obviously, I had to. When your best friend is a dog lover, there is nothing much you can do but adapt.
But wolves were a totally different domain.

Maybe she doesn't know the difference between dogs and wolves.....
Or maybe Savage was just some savage dog!

I desperately wanted to believe the latter theory, but somewhere at the back of my head a tiny voice screamed that he was a big bad wolf.

But now, more than fearing about my certain death in the paws (or probably jaws) of a wolf, I was annoyed. Beyond words.

Savage was literally following her around EVERYWHERE!

So now I need to share a room with a vicious predator who would probably make a tasty meal out of us while we are sleeping?!
Hell no!
Who does he think he is kidding?

I sat sulking on the bed. Lexi was taking a bath and he was sitting just outside the door, howling occasionally and then walking around the room sniffing all her stuff.

"Stop poking your nose into our business!", I yelled at him, unable to control my frustration.

He glared at me, giving a low growl as a warning.

Jeez! I certainly won't score well in the wolf management department....

"If you so much as make one move against me, I will tell Lexi!"
I sounded like a ridiculous kid to myself.

But surprisingly, it worked on Savage. After looking shocked, he put his nose in the air and turned his face away, as if it was somehow undignified on his part to look at anyone but Lexi.

Silly wolf. I smirked to myself.

Now that I knew a way to handle this "accidental pet", my mind drifted to other things.

Katie wasn't handling the wolf drama very well. She was scared of dogs in the first place, so it wasn't surprising. But atleast she had her cousins to help her out.....

Speaking of which, I was shocked to see the guys pop out from nowhere. Wasn't this place supposed to be empty of any humans but the three of us?!
But though I was shocked, I felt relieved too....
Atleast they didn't seem frightened of the wolf and probably could have done something to chase it away, before it became all lovey-dovey with Lexi.

And they were really attractive.....

I could feel myself starting to blush as I remembered the way the guy with blue eyes stared at me.
But his brother seemed rather strange. Infact, I saw his nostrils flare up angrily he watched the wolf follow Lexi around.

Not a big fan of wolves, I suppose.

A low growl from Savage brought me back to the present.
Just as I was about to tell him to keep his mouth shut, I realised he was glaring daggers at the door.
