After checking out of the hotel and finding the nearest Starbucks, I make myself comfortable with a mug of strong coffee by the window of the café. Torn between texting Chloe or leaving it, texting Aubrey or not getting her involved, or texting Amy or avoiding getting absolutely slated for my sudden realisation, I scroll through my phone anxiously. My finger eventually settles on Amy, so I decide to send her a text.
