Here I am,
At the start again.
I'll say I'm a better guy,
Don't you dare watch me cry,Start again.
Call a quits,
Can't stop me even if you tried.
Cause you know, I know,
It's coming down,
Staring down a barrel of a gun.
Hold our baby girl, hold her tight, and break her heart.
We'll be a family again,
Starting tonight.Start again.
Put myself in your shoes,
For once bleed in the poet's truth.
Call me weak, Call me a hypocrite.
Won't deny it, took an oath.
It be best if I leave,
Get the kids for the weekends.
We just can't stop,
Won't.Start again.
Send out once last final word,
Transmission over a bond of emotion,
Last breath of sudden regret.Don't fool yourself,
Cause you know you can't let go,
Cause you know,
Cause I know,
We won't.Start again.
Won't forget, Won't apologize.
Take it all back in a single beat,
Wish I could've given you a better story,
Instead of a record skipping,
On repeat.
