Freedom Or Fantasy

We are free
As free as there ever was or ever could dream to be
Politicians preach their so called teach
Is the line ever so fine?
Defining a ever great divide

Is it.....
Free, when you set out on a plane
You'll never land, the light of day comes in fiery ablaze

Free, when you take a stroll through the woods
Done everyday, it's all mundane
Hear a noise from behind
Turn around, the time that was dragging your barely grasping

Free, when mother's hug their children unaware it is their very last embrace
Kids just exercising a first world right
They won't come home tonight

Free feeling more like fantasy
More then symbolic it's erratic
Sick with bad case of ironic

In this first world, new world order
We're free to do anything,
We're free to lose everything
