And it's short-
It was pouring vigorously, lightning flashing across the dark midnight sky, illuminating the awaiting boy by the window. His body trembling with just a thin blanket over his exposed feet, covered in his kitten printed pajamas.
His fiancé had worked a longer shift at work, promising Jimin he'd be home soon enough to spend quality time with him. But how long could Jimin wait, while he worried if the roads were too blurry from the rain to drive in?
The living room had been set up neatly, the couch was transformed into a bed with fluffy pillows to decorate, along with a few of Jimin's favorite stuffed animals. One lamp lighting up one side of the room while the TV was set to Netflix. Several snacks were nearby, while a giant bowl of popcorn sat on the coffee table, no longer fresh.
Jimin had tried to make it as special as he could, wanting to impress his lover. However, his heart pained with distress, as time ticked by impatiently.
"Jungkook?" He called, seeing a pair of bright headlights pull into the driveway. Jimin's eyes lit up, a smile radiating from him as he ran towards the door.
He saw a tall, dark silhouette through the rain approach him. Fear filled him for a second as they came into the light. A water-soaked Jungkook stared at him, in his hands were a bundle of roses, ravaged by the storm.
"Am I too late?"
The question was out of the equation as happiness and relief filled Jimin's heart, he pulled his fiancée through the door frame—showering him with kisses. Soaking his pajamas with Jungkook's drenched clothes as he gave warmth to his body with his desired embrace. He left a long lasting passionate kiss on Jungkook lips, trailing a few more pecks on along his face.
"I've missed you."
"Me too, baby. I'm sorry I couldn't come sooner." Jungkook cooed, caressing Jimin's hands that warmed his cold cheeks.
"I'm sorry about these as well." He held the large bundle of roses with one hand, tiredly. A sympathetic smile tugged at his lips. Jimin gratefully took the roses from him, grinning sheepishly. He had loved the gesture despite the condition.
"Go take a warm shower, I'll go make some hot cocoa."

Jimin scrolled through the movies on Netflix wondering which ones would Jungkook be interested in watching. He hadn't wanted him falling asleep, even if he had overworked himself at his job.
The younger walked into the living room, gazing at the decorations, Jimin had put up. His hyung always had made an effort for him.
He let out a chuckle, plotting himself beside the older and wrapping his arms around him. His damp hair brushing on Jimin's collarbone.
"I'm sorry."
"Gukkie, I said it was okay. I'm just happy you're here." Jimin giggled, feeling Jungkook pepper him with affectionate kisses. He purred, leaning into his touch.
"Here." Jimin handed him a cup of hot cocoa, and reached behind him to pull a blanket over his shoulders. The two shared it, closing any space there was between them.
"What movie do you wanna watch?"
"Any action? I don't wanna drift to sleep."
Jimin giggled, quickly putting the first action movie he put his eyes on. They sipped their hot cocoa, snuggling up to eachother as the movie played. Jungkook would occasionally peck Jimin's cheek, making sure the older's hands weren't getting cold.
Halfway through the movie, they dug into the snacks and ate the popcorn Jimin had to remake. Jungkook tickled him, knocking Jimin back into a laying position, which resulted in them tangling themselves each other in a heavy make out session.
They unlocked lips, breathing heavily—their faces flushed as they gazed at one another lovingly.
"Jungkook-ah."
"Jimin-ah."
The older played with the locks on his significant other's head. Jungkook gave him a breathtaking smile when he saw the stars in Jimin's eyes.
"Could you take a day off work tomorrow and spend it with me again?"
"Of course." Jungkook told him with sincerely. In this moment, with Jimin looking at him like this, it was impossible to say no.
"Really? Do you mean it?" Jimin confirmation was made clear when Jungkook leaned into him again and gave the boy a slow, wistful kiss.
"I mean it."
Jimin wrapped his arms around the younger's back, digging his head into his chest. He sighed with contentment.
"I love you, Jeon."
"I love you more, Park."
