Bentley watched with wide eyes at the scene. Bast is basically naked and floating in front of the Greeks. He wondered if this is what Python meant by gods/goddesses. From his memory, and also because at the moment he can read Bj's mind, Bast must have inspired the Greek goddess, Aphrodite. Bentley finally snapped out of and dove to hand Bast his shirt.
And he hates that because it's his favorite band tee.
Before he could reach her the Greeks had clothes in their hands. Bast floated towards the beach and smiled at them. He landed on the ground and turn back to his family and Python. They didn't want to say anything because they don't know what they should do.
"Oh beautiful Aphrodite," An older man said. "You graced us just allowing us to look upon your flesh."
Bast looked back at her cousins with panic written across her face.
"Please accept these clothing from us. Your humble followers." He said.
"Thank you," Bast said as she took the clothing.
The older man looked towards Bentley with wide eyes. Bentley widens his eyes as he looked around. He is trying to find who he is looking at. The two females behind him covered their mouths. Bentley patted against his face, making sure that he isn't melting or having his skin rotting off. None of those things are happening.
"Oh, great Pothes. What brings you here with the goddess?" He asked.
Bentley just nodded slowly, "Sightseeing."
Bj grabbed the back of his shirt to bring the blonde closer, "Pothos was the god of longing and yearning after a significant other."
"Of course I am Pothos," Bentley muttered. "Someone here longs for someone so I was called upon."
The older man nodded before motioning the two cousins to follow him. Bentley looked back at the others and jerked his head to the side. He walked forward with Bast next to him and heard the others follow him. He looked around but his eyes landed on a young teenager looking at another teenager. He heard her thoughts, begging him to notice her.
Now he knows why he must be Pothos. His ability allowed him to realize what they think and feel.
They lead them into a large open castle. Bentley looked around but his eyes landed on a small painting. It's a simple profile of someone staring straight forward. Yet that's not what caught his eye. It's who the painting that caught him. It's Maine!
Bentley, without thinking, and rushed towards it. He picked up the small painting and found himself smiling. He traced Maine's messy hair, still reminding him of a lion's mane. He saw his beautiful eyes shining brightly. His slime large, showing off his teeth, and Bentley looked at his ears. He wondered if there is any way for him to hear during his lifetime.
"Where did you get this?" Bentley asked.
A young girl stood next to him with her head down, "You requested it to be painted."
"How? Did anyone see him?"
"No, my god. You were able to project a vision from your head. Then commanded our painter of the court to paint Maine for you."
"Can I keep this?"
"Of course. It's yours after all."
Bentley finally looked away from the painting and saw Bartholomew looking at him. He put the painting inside his pocket then walked towards them. Bartholomew shook his head with a small frown. Bentley walked next to his twin who was sighing.
