Salam I will be talking about holidays.
Eid ul Adha is coming up and honestly the holiday season is always so hard.
I come from a Christian family so the holidays we celebrated were Christmas and Easter and you had that family presence. Alhamduilah my family doesn't hate me for reverting.
I reverted to Islam with no Muslim family and there are no Muslims in my area so I have no Muslim friends. I'm the only Muslim in my entire school.
So Eid is always hard because all the feasts are just singular meals, the presents you buy one for yourself and you don't have anyone to give one to.
Fasting in Ramadan is just I don't even know because you have no one there to fast with you.
And when you go to your family just to be there it's awkward you don't have that spirit in it.
So when you are all alone during Eid or Ramadan it's just not that fun. Allah SWT is enough.
But sometimes you just can't help but shed a tear that you don't have an Islamic family to celebrate with or support you.Salam!
