We were just laying on the grass in silence, that worked for us
"Come on then" I got up and put my hand out for Courtney who was smiling up at the sky looking beautiful as ever
After snapping a picture of her I got her attention "Court"
I extended my hand for her to take and she did
We walked towards the park together and I ran to the slide straight away
As I was sitting at the top Courtney was chuckling at the bottom with her phone out filming it I'm presuming
"This was my favourite place to be as a child and I've never brought anyone here but you" I smiled and went down the slide forward, on my front
I pushed myself up as I got to the bottom and went over to the swings dragging Courtney with me
"I love the swings" she laughed sitting in one and pushing off the ground
I got out my phone and took a picture of her decent as her hair flowed behind her and she was laughing slightly
"No pictures!" She screeched
I just laughed and joined her on the swing next to her swinging in time
She reached out and grabbed my left hand with her right one
"On three we jump" she said a twinkle of mischief in her eyes
We were still swinging high
"Okay"
"One"
"Two"
"Three"
She screamed and I had to pull her off the swing as I jumped
I landed firmly on my feet but Courtney wobbled so I pulled her into my chest for support -
In more ways than one.
