I enter the cold room quietly. There was the dad of my girlfriend, sitting on the leather couch.
"You called me, Mike?" I asked.
"Yes, please close the door and take a sit." He said, motioning to the other couch infront of him.
I quietly took a sit, waiting for him to talk. After pass minutes of waiting, he finally broke the silence. "You love my daughter right?"
"I really do, Mike." I said honestly.
"If you do... Can you please break up with her?" He pleadingly asked.
I look at him shock, "Why?"
I knew Mike had accepted me to the family. I knew he would never tell this to me. There's an explanation on why he would say this. I thought.
"This would be a long story." He started off, "Listen carefully Ally."
I nodded, indicating him to continue.
"You know about my work right? A business man?"
I nodded, for the second time.
"Well," He nervously look around. "Half of it wasn't true."
I kept my expression blank.
He sigh, "I do own a company but, I'm also a drug Lord. Clara holds the company while I'm selling drugs to other drug Lords."
What?
He's a drug Lord?
"I know you're shock but please understand it and don't tell it to Lauren. Anyways, so there are other durg Lords right?"
Lauren also doesn't know about this?
"Yes." I said nonchalantly
"Well there was one time. The drug Lord I'm friend's with has a daughter, Lucy vives. She and Lauren had become friends since childhood. She had grew a liking towards Lauren as they grew older. She had to leave this country for like couple of years or so."
He catch his breath. "Now that she had come back, she wants to be with lauren as her girlfriend. I'm not giving Lauren to Lucy cause that girl is crazy heck no. Moving on, Lucy had found out that Lauren already had a girlfriend which is you."
My stomach drop since I know what he is going to say.
"She threatened to me one day, coming to our house while Lauren was with you, that she would kill you in order to be with Lauren. But if that happens, we all know that Lauren would also commit suicide if you die. You know that Idiot can't live without you."
Now is not the time to laugh Ally.
"So, by protecting both of your lives. Please break up with her Ally. Once lucy knows where you live, your life would get in trouble. A reason why I already bought Lauren her own house now." He said. "I know I can protect you but this is another option cause I'm not always here since I leave the country oftenly. My guards are also lazy so this is one option I can think of."
His words sunk in to my mind and heart painfully.
But He's right.
I need to break up with Lauren.
If I die, she would also die. I knew to myself don't want her to die because of that lucy girl that her dad was talking about. Well, it's that girl's fault cause if I die then she can't also have lauren.
