The horizon begans to turn into a orange-red hue, as the sun starts to set down, adding the warm breeze that engulfed me to it.
I walked through the lonely street, hands inside the jacket I'm getting heat from. Not quitely, but enough to support me in the night.
The Hansen's invited me there for some big party that was thrown. I didn't see my girlfriend, if I could even call her that. I actually don't know what we are right now. Ex? I think so.
I felt some discomfort inside me by walking through these awfully quiet street.
Man, I wish I had accepted Dinah's offer. I though.
Although, I insisted to walk instead and boy, that was a big mistake.
I can sense that someone is watching me, making me tensed up all of the sudden. I made myself relax, though, walking faster than before.
I looked back, but to no avail, no one was there. By the situation, it's giving shivers to my spine. If someone's really watching or following me, please kill me already so I would join with God.
My head can't process a thing once a hand wrapped around my body, while a handkerchief covered my nose and mouth.
Despite the position i'm in right now, I tried to fight back. Trying to release from their grasp, mostly not to inhale the scent of the handkerchief. Yet, I failed.
And this is the end.
Dramatic right?
My eyes slowly closed, mind shutting down also.
----------------------------------------------
I quickly took action between the scenery happening before my eyes.
Oh hell nawh, not my future wife.
I quietly sneaked up to the guy, punching him both in some parts for him to let go Ally. I immediately catched her before her head could hit the cemented ground.
I made an attack once again, kicking the guy where the sun doesn't shine. But rather leaving, I carried Ally at my back, supporting her with a hand and using the other to grab the t-shirt of the guy. Besides, the guy was to small for me, although to tall for Ally.
The guy shook his head, "Don't hurt me please..."
I looked at him intensely, "Who told you to do this?"
"I-i'm not sure... I was only told by my boss." The guy said.
"Then, who's your boss?" I asked.
"No one actually knows her name... We only call her that." The guy stated.
"Ah so it's a girl?" The guy nodded, "I knew that someone calls her as 'V' I think, but that's what I only know."
"Alright." I kept my grip, "Don't try to tell this even to your boss but if you do, i'll fucking kill you in no time. " I growled, letting him go. I saw him run to somewhere else like it was the end of the world.
I sigh, looking at the head laying peacefully on my neck.
Told myself I can't hold a grudge at her. I shake my head at the thought.
Still, I have to keep my distance for a while. I still didn't like what she did but oh well, I don't want her hurt also.
I made my way where my car sat, putting her in to the passenger seat and going around to seat on the drivers seat.
I took her back to the house she lives. We entered the room to see her mother wide-awake watching the tv. She smiled when she saw us, I greeted her before continuing my journey to her room.
I tuck her in the queen size bed, kissing her forehead. "Adiós por ahora, mi amor. Estaré investigando algo por ahora." I whispered to her sleeping figure. I glance one last time before leaving without a second thought.
Now time for the real deal.
--------------
I lay comfortably on the couch, until a person barges into my peaceful atmosphere.
Rude. I thought.
"Didn't I tol-" I turned my head to the direction where the person stood. "Oh, it's only you Veronica."
"Don't try to relax now Lucy. One of our people got hurt by hunting that girl." Veronica stated.
Interesting. I fixed myself up, "Did something else happened rather him being hurt? Any information he got?" I looked at her intensely, "You know Lauren would be following her, Ally couldn't hurt a fly." I added.
"Nothing at all. The man only said he was beaten up."
Such strength, making me fall for her even more. Yet, it's still going to be a long ride to have her falling into my arms. However, the weird thing is she didn't even try to threaten the man off. Hm, strange.
"And you would believe that?" I scoffed, "Put the man in That room, i'll be talking to him. Lauren would threaten people, Vero. Don't get fooled again."
She rolled her eyes, walking out the room. "Alright, obsessive human being."
Tsk, that wouldn't be Lauren we are talking about if she didn't do that thing. I grab the mug full of coffee, using the spoon to swirl the substance around. I quietly thought the oncoming events or plans, that I had done for the past months.
This would get exciting.
I sip on my coffee, finishing it and grabbing my leather jacket. I leaved the room, heading where the guy should be now.
——————————————
I sigh. I looked in the guys eyes to see if he was telling the truth,
and of course he's not.
I slam my hand down on the table, "Why won't you tell me?!" I yelled in his face.
"There's n-nothing to be telling ma'am." He stuttered, body shaking in fear.
I look at Veronica at the glass windows, indicating her to get what I needed. She entered the room, giving me a knife and headed out. I put my attention on the man, "So, are you going to tell me or not?" I played the knife with my hands, smirking slightly.
He gulped, "Y-yes ma'am. I will tell you."
"Good. Now, start the story." I stated, sitting on the chair infront of him.
After the story telling, I talked with Veronica a bit to what to do about the man. I left the room, walking to the silent hallways again. I closed my eyes and sighed.
The situation is according to plan... I chuckled, looking at the windows that were barely covered by the curtains.
Soon, soon, and soon...
You'll be here with me Jauregui.
