NORMANI'S POV

"You said you saw earlier right? How did it go?"

The blonde girl looked at me. "The usual, then she just left."

"What do you mean by the usual?" I asked her. Ally took a little scoop of her ice cream using her spoon, "I apologized to her because I wasn't listening to her. I also asked Lauren on why she wasn't attending school, she said to not worry then left."

"Uhm, can we talk about it."

"Talk about what?"

"You know it." She stared at me for a minute, not getting the idea, but nodded later on. "How are you even still holding it in? Like, didn't you even confront of her about it?"

She shook her head. "I didn't, I couldn't bring to myself to ask her about it. I feel like she doesn't even have a clue. If she did, Lauren would have told me Normani, plus she would have rebelled to her father more than what she usually does. Look, she also doesn't even know the real reason of our first break up. Im not even sure if her father told her anything besides him being inside the mafia world."

"Want a bet?" I smirked at her. Ally frowned, "Mani, we shouldn't be doing that."

"Come on, even Dinah would participate in this."

"Are you even serious right now?"

"Okay, fine, fine. But question, are you still gonna date her? After we graduate?" Her eyes flickered up to lock with mines, going silent. Ally broke contact, staring at the ground. "I...I don't know anymore. There's a contract between Lauren's and Lucy's family Mani, you've seen it. You know I can't date her." The eyes that usually beamed with happiness is now, a pair of gloom orbs.

I chuckled, "I doubt that. We're talking about Lauren, Ally. You know her better."

"I know Normani, but she's in the mafia world. It's hard to rebel off."

"If we can't bet on Lauren knowing it, then can we bet on this?" I said nonchalantly, eating the ice cream on my spoon.

"Mani!"

ALEXA'S POV

"We are protecting something that is ours." I told her boldly.

Lucy glared at me. I sent a harder look at her. "I have access to this because I will be married to Lauren, Alexa."

I scoffed, "Where's the ring? Oh, I don't see it because you guys aren't married to-"

"What?"

We both whipped our heads to where a confused and shocked Lauren was standing behind me. Me and the woman that I dislike looked at her quizzically. "You don't know?" I asked the green eyed girl.

She shook her head, looking so lost at the moment. Veronica came closer to Lucy, whispering something in her ear. The brunette responded quietly, wearing a harsh look, before facing us. "Didn't your father told you about the contract, or deal between the two of our families?"

"Ah no, she does know it Lucy." I answered sarcastically, rolling my eyes at her.

"Don't interfere Ferrer."

"Oh so now-"

Lauren cut me off. "Was that why you were so insistent to make us break up? A reason that you had to bring Perrie along?"

I looked at Lauren surprisingly. Never knew that snake would take it that far. I chuckled at Lucy, facing her. "What the hell Vives?"

"My father won't help me out. I got to do what I need to do." She shrugged.

"Yeah, even if her father asked her that if Lauren would be happy with Lucy's doing." Veronica muttered. Lucy elbowed the woman, making her breath hitched.

"Wow, never took you to be like that Vives. That desperate? The contract said that when you both turned-"

"Twenty, yeah I know Ferrer." She rolled her eyes. "But can we please explain this to Lauren first?"

"Fine. But don't even try to lie with anything." I warned her. I motioned Lauren to come closer.

"Anyways, thank you for shutting your mouth Ferrer." She said, before starting from the very first thing that happened for them to make the deal.

I listened continuously, in case that she would lie at any point. I rather listened to my guts, knowing that Lucy would be tricky. Hell, she had manipulated many people from before. However, I also doubt that she would say something very untrue. Lauren could always borrow a copy that her father has. My family has also an extra copy, since they were the witness, which the Jauregui, and the Vives made a deal upon.

I wonder how she feels right now... I thought as I watch her facial expression change while Lucy and Veronica talked about the contract.

Either she would rebel and not accept it or...No that won't happen. Lauren wouldn't do what I thought of in my second option. The woman isn't like that. However, why did her father not tell her about this, could it be...

No, I doubt that.

"If the contract said that we would be married when we turned twenty, then why are you even trying to enter my life and ruining it? The contract never said that at all."

I burst out laughing. Veronica chuckled at the smart remark, but stopped when Lucy glared at her. "I also like you Lauren, from the very first start-"

"If you like me, you will do anything right?" She asked. "Then get the hell out of my life." Lauren stared intensely at Lucy. "You can only comeback when we both turn twenty."

I struggled to not laugh, same with Veronica. Once I calmed down, my lips displayed a small smile, it went unnoticed by the two woman in front of us. I took a glimpse at the raven haired girl beside me, seeing behind her green eyes that she's thinking something. I'm darn sure that she's thinking ways to not take the marriage. Who would even want to marry Lucy?

"As if I would do that." The brunette gave off the same look Lauren did. "You'll be seeing more of me Jauregui, get used to it."

"Don't even try to touch Ally." She warned.

"Oh, that woman?" Lucy smirked, but shrugged afterwards. "We never know, maybe something is happening while we talk."

"I'll kill you." She growled.

"Oh no, don't even try to do that. War would begin if you did that." Lucy smiled, looking at her. The brunette faced me, "Now, where are we?"
